Entreparotas House is a nature-integrated residence in Colima, Mexico, designed by Di Frenna Arquitectos. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, including parota and fig trees, the home embraces its jungle setting and a small on-site stream. A bold concrete structure adapts to the terrain, creating scenic pathways that highlight the surrounding landscape.

Using neutral, stone-like materials, the architecture evokes a ruin hidden in the jungle, allowing nature to take center stage. Floor-to-ceiling openings bring in natural light, wind, and rain, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.

The ground floor serves as the heart of the home, featuring double-height living and dining spaces that open completely to the garden. A terrace connects seamlessly with the landscape, while a light staircase leads to a rooftop designed for relaxation and views.

The upper floor hosts the private areas, arranged along an elongated corridor with views enhanced by the double-height space below. A mixed concrete-steel structure allows large cantilevers and open facades, complemented by artisan stonework and parota wood finishes
