
Tariffs to Continue Under Different Set of Rules: Attorney
Friday, Feb. 20, the Supreme Court struck down President Trump’s ability to impose tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). In the following press conference the president told the nation he will be continuing with tariffs under a different legal precedent and is signing an order for a 10 percent global tariff the same day. Allen Mendenhall, Ph.D, attorney, and senior advisor at The Heritage Foundation, joins NTD to discuss what to expect.
