Good afternoon!
Four o'clock, Friday, you know what that means.
Welcome to Dude RV!
Hey, I appreciate you stopping by!
And of course, say it with me, you got here just in time.
That's right, because it's Friday!
And it's time for another wonderful edition of Friday's Fines.
Of course, we can't kick off a Friday's Fines.
In case you don't know, Friday's Fines is a product compilation video.
Most of the products are sponsored from Amazon.
Companies need people that talk like me to present products to you,
and so we kind of come to an agreement here.
You get some infotainment, I earn a little revenue to support the channel,
and the companies, they get to sell their products
with someone who can communicate with you.
Because that's what I do!
Anyway, I know, I'm rambling along.
All these items can be found on Amazon.
And doing what I do, I'll give you a link up there and some links down there.
These are all sponsored products, and I do earn a little bit of money.
Now that we got that legal stuff out of the way,
hey, I know you background watchers want to see what's been going on.
Well, if you watched last week's episode,
you'll have seen that I added a nice sizable water feature.
But I discovered I have a leak.
Somewhere in my waterfall, I have a leak.
And unfortunately, I've got to go back to Mom's for a week.
And then I got four days between Mom's and Buzzer Day and Dillo Days.
It is that time of year!
February 2nd is coming quick.
And the last weekend of July...
And this year, Dillo Days is going to be held on Saturday.
The last Saturday of January.
Lake Whitney State Park.
You'll have to catch it next year, because by the time you see this,
it'll already have happened.
I'm about three weeks ahead of schedule on my production.
And that's good, because this time of year,
the Chinese New Year really slows down product delivery.
Anyway, here I go rambling again.
We are going to kick this off.
I got three products right now.
I should have some deliveries.
Another delivery showing up this afternoon late.
But we're going to start off here,
and then we're going to close out over in the little town of Milford, Texas,
while I'm taking care of Mom.
Meanwhile, I got some boxes to open.
Beautiful, sunshiny day.
A little bit cool, but man, I got a beautiful...
I got lots of great lights.
I got to take advantage of that.
So let's get to it.
We'll start with the smallest.
With the three that I have,
we'll start with the smallest and go to the largest.
And if something shows up after that,
well, you'll be seeing the next segment over there.
All right, here I go.
I'm rambling again.
First box is the small one.
And it comes to us from...
Thank you, Maker Group Technology.
Let's see what they have sent us.
You know, I like landscape lighting.
This one.
This one captures my imagination.
It is an RGB ground light.
12-volt landscape lighting.
That's one of my most favorite categories to work in.
Why?
Because I live out in the middle of nowhere.
It is dark, dark, dark.
We don't have street lights.
Rather, I use low-voltage lights
to give us a little ambiance around here.
This is waterproof.
You can set that in the concrete or in your gravel
or just in your driveway.
There is an app to control it,
but there's also a remote, which is very handy.
I have an instruction diagram
showing how to change the lamp
because if the lamp ever dies,
you still get the fixture.
You dig a hole with a shovel
and bury the light fixture to the level of the ground.
Connect the wires to the light
and then set the lighting color with the remote.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe there is not an app, which is good.
I'm glad there's not an app.
I'm tired of apps.
I have so many light apps on my phone.
I don't know which one to use.
RGB.
Red, green, blue.
Comes with a little Allen wrench
so you can get inside of it
and watertight wiring nuts
so you can put it in the ground.
I like the brass fitting on it.
And I think we're gonna...
I don't know.
I'm gonna think about it.
I'll figure out what I'm gonna do with it.
I'm gonna do something back here, though.
I gotta get it in the head.
All right.
I got a dumb truck.
And occasionally, I get companies
that want me to make my truck a little smarter.
So we're gonna see if we can make lighting a little smarter
with the AutoCast.
AutoCast.
O-T-T-O.
Auto.
Oto.
OtoCast.
It's the OtoCast.
OtoScreen.
I bet that's what they...
How do they want us to say that?
AutoCast.
It's a little punny thing.
You know, that's kind of punny.
Not AutoCast.
It's like Oto.
Oto.
Well packaged.
This would make a great gift for anybody in your family that's got a dumb car.
It can also be set up as a rear view backup camera.
That's a big screen right there.
And they're supposed to be...
We're supposed to be able to connect this
without taking the dash apart.
Let's see what it includes.
Power supply.
Dash adhesive mount.
Rear camera.
I believe that's your audio.
So let me educate myself so I can speak a little more intelligently.
Out here, Tranquility Base, we're on sand 600 feet deep.
It's a super fine sugar sand.
And so when we walk the dogs right out here,
you see there's some sand showing through.
It gets on our feet and their feet and it goes in the house.
I got sand mats to catch it.
Over the last several days while I've been working on this, digging in the sand,
the whole patio gets covered.
There's always a trail that goes right there and then it goes inside.
Now that I've rambled on about lots of sand.
Lots of sand.
And we have the Q20 Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner by Airzine.
You see that?
Airzine sent us the Q20 Ultra Robot Vacuum Cleaner.
That's a little...
We're at mom's.
Garvey.
Thank you, Garvey, for sponsoring this edition of Friday's Finds.
Garvey wants to show you their patio recliner.
And it just so happens that I could use a recliner while I'm here.
So let me pull it out of the box and put it together.
All right, we are assembled.
Give you a look at how this is all put together.
So you got your strut handle to release the strut is right there.
So it worked out very simple putting the footrest, the seat pad, and the back together.
And then the arms went together.
So now I've got to put it upright, put the cushions on it.
And I'll be right back.
And there you go.
A patio recliner.
That's pretty sharp.
Nap time.
Now we need to go figure out that car plate thing.
All right, I think I got it figured out though.
I'm real close.
Working with the in-ground RGB light.
So I have the pond and this feature.
I refer to that as Allergy Man because it kind of looks like a dude whose eye does never
stop running.
Mountain Cedar is really high right now and it's just running like crazy.
Anyway, in the previous location I had a spotlight shining on that at night, an RGB spotlight.
It really makes a cool effect.
So I want to demonstrate that lighting effect using the can light.
Now we can also dig a hole and put it in the ground, but that's not nearly as fun as mounting
it in the wall to shine specifically on the water feature.
We'll be back after dark to see.
We are after dark and I have got the LED RGB ground light in focus.
I've got it currently set on fade.
I'm going to shift it over to...
Let's see, what can we shift it to?
The next one is...
Six.
Oh, I think this is a slow fade.
Yeah, I like that one.
Let's see how that looks on the feature.
That's good.
We'll do this one.
See what this one does.
That's a slow fade.
Let's look at that.
Kind of a flash.
Fade and flash.
That's kind of an intense flash.
This is a slow fade.
That's the one I like the best.
I really like this light.
I need to get a little closer though.
Maybe we need to look at...
What would it look like if we put it up there?
Less imprint.
You won't be able to tell.
It's really bright.
I don't know how much you're going to be able to tell.
So on our map we can see its current cleaning plan.
The hall, it just finished doing the mapping
and the green area is considered the first room.
You can see where the water is being laid down as it makes its passes.
We'll let it get into a little more complex room.
Meanwhile, let's talk about this app.
Let's discuss the app.
Because there's an app for that.
The Q20 Ultra will also work with Smart Home Life.
The Smart Home Life app.
You can see it's currently cleaning in this room.
In this menu you can see the record.
How many times it's cleaned.
How much area.
You can go in here and you can schedule it.
So that it'll start when you're in bed.
You can adjust the volume.
There's just, there's a whole lot you can do in here.
Consumable life.
So if the machine, if the battery dies in the middle of the cleaning cycle,
it'll automatically return to the cleaning, the home station and empty the dust bin.
And so if the battery dies while it's cleaning, it'll return to home base.
Empty the dust bin.
Recharge.
And once it's fully charged, once it's fully charged,
it'll go right back to where it decided it needed to go home and finish the cleaning cycle.
Let's see if, let's see if we can get out of that.
Now the other unit that we have frequently gets hung up right there.
Looks like we got all the beans and lentils and cut oats and
all that stuff I put out there just to see how it would work.
Just in here.
We're fortunate not to have big dogs.
So we don't have a whole lot of dog here.
We have a little short haired dogs.
All the bigger stuff is what I put out for it to pick up.
Kupzu bug.
Those are, they stink.
I really like this CarPlay device.
I can cast the audio from my YouTube on my phone.
I can cast the audio in here.
It's already got several apps built into it that you can download or run.
We have YouTube's in.
Of course, don't watch YouTube while you're driving.
With NPRs on there right now,
we can update some of these.
If you want to go home, you click the screen right there.
Click the home button.
Want to know where we're going?
We can throw a map up there.
Go audio.
If you want to listen to a podcast or something, we can go to FM.
We can connect aux to the radio here.
There's just so much that can be done with this.
There we go.
I like this unit.
I like it a lot.
And I know you will too.
If you got a dumb car, this will make it a whole lot smarter.
It's got all kinds of stuff in there.
Play music.
Play games.
Watch Netflix.
Prime video even.
You do have to have a good solid signal though.
All right.
We are moving right along.
And that, my friends, brings us to the end of this edition of Fridays.
That dog hates it when I start talking.
Nothing I can do to shut him up.
Anyway, we're done here.
I got to get to editing so I can get this posted.
Now, all of these items can be found on Amazon.
And being the gracious host that I am,
I will give you an opportunity to make a purchase.
The dog is getting excited.
Shut up!
That brings us to the end of this edition of Friday's Finds.
All of these items are available on Amazon.
And being the gracious host that I am,
I shall provide you with an opportunity to make a purchase.
Actually, a couple.
Up there, you'll find a link.
In the card, you'll find a link that'll take you to the Friday's Finds
2026 shopping list on the DudeRV gear recommendations page on Amazon.
Your business is most appreciated.
Now, if you don't want to mess with that list,
then you can go down in the description,
click that more button right there, and it'll open up the basement.
Down there in the basement, I've got dedicated individual product links
that'll take you directly to that product page.
Those actually make a better impression than the...
The links down there, they're the better ones.
They help me out more so that I can keep producing this content for you.
If you've not already, I would be most honored
if you would consider clicking on the subscribe button.
That really helps a small channel to grow.
And for those of you who have already been following along, thank you.
I am most grateful.
And for our patrons, your generosity truly helps.
Thank you.
All right, y'all come back now, you hear?
We'll see you next week.
I got some cool ones coming up.
Yeah, big ones.
