【Classical music and nature 古典音樂小站】Frédéric Chopin: Mazurka in A-flat major, Op. 7 no. 4. This beautiful piece was played by Edward Neeman. It has common licence (Public Domain Mark 1.0 Universal), and is provided through musopen.org.

The Mazurkas, Op. 7, are a set of five mazurkas by Frédéric Chopin. They were mostly written between 1830 and 1831, and published in 1832 by Maurice Schlesinger. This is the only set of mazurkas by Chopin that contains five pieces; all his other published sets consist of either three or four. The set is dedicated to Paul-Emile Johns, a German-American pianist from New Orleans who met Chopin in Paris in 1832.

The fourth mazurka in the set was originally composed in 1824, when Chopin was 14, and is believed to be the first mazurka he ever wrote. It was later revised and published as part of the set. Set in A♭ major and marked 'Presto, ma non troppo', it features a playful recurring main theme, followed by a more lyrical episode in the parallel key of F minor.

Christian Schlegel captured the video in Jura, the French part of Switzerland, and Wenjing Ma edited it.
