This changed my life.
We descend in just a few days and Samantha's birthday is August 30th so at the pre-party
so she doesn't know it we literally have not mentioned her birthday to her whatsoever
um but we're gonna get her a vegan cake from Sweet Life in Eugene which is a really really
popular place um I think Isaac said he's gonna get a cream brulee yep so I'm excited to uh do
that for her and surprise her for her birthday so we'll show you what we get when we get back
we did it so we couldn't find a cake but they did have vegan gluten-free cupcakes so we got
some of those for her birthday at Descend and then we also got some treats for tonight so
that's exciting what are we doing for dinner I don't know I brought the big bus keys so that I
can put Samantha's cupcakes in the big bus so she has no idea about it and then we have our treats
for tonight which you can take those in PS we have heated seats yeah I was like I missed the
heated seats in the other Lexus that we had because we just um we just I just did everything I needed
to do with the Lexus and we had a rental car and it had heated seats and I was like I missed the
heated seats and then he was like what's this heated seats it was a very exciting moment and
it feels really nice it's actually chilly outside today yeah can you unlock it the cupcakes fell
on their side while we were driving and I hope it didn't ruin them that's from the cupcakes
yeah we got plenty of room all right guys I'll see you tomorrow we move back into the big bus
and get ready to descend on bend good morning it is time to descend almost it is uh the pre-party
day it's also Samantha's birthday so happy birthday Samantha um we are getting ready
to head out so we're just packing last minute stuff like bottles and um just anything else
that we might need where's ember uh Nathan's trying to wash her oh let's make a good time
we woke up extra early and we woke up ember early so that she would sleep on the drive there so
ember and I are really tired we normally get to sleep in
but yeah so we'll be hitting the road soon just all kinds of last minute things
chargers cameras batteries food all the stuff so today's the day
happy birthday we just got to the pre-party so we're gonna go scope it out and um
there's no parking apparently so this will be interesting yeah I drove up into the venue
because my van would fit in a parking spot and there was zero so wow yeah let's go baby

so we just were at the brewery and we came back to the bus
we came back to the bus to get Samantha's birthday stuff ready we had to secretly ditch her
without her knowing we're like oh yeah hey whoa watch out that would have been the second time

oh no this is gonna be a disaster oh no they're fine we got a pink candle do we do we have a

good morning i feel like i'm not being a good youtuber um i'm not filming like every moment
but i am living in the moment and i'm just having fun um you know usually i don't get to do that so
it's just been really nice to be around friends and we've i've met people who i follow online that
i've never met in person and that's one thing i really love about to send is like that's a big
part of it too and like seeing old friends and there's just there's people who you see it descend
and you only see them at descend and so it's like this is just a reunion of friends and it's amazing
and i love that um i just made breakfast and isaac is filming i think the morning yoga
and i'm starving so i'm gonna eat and last night was super fun today's saturday so i think
today's like the biggest day of the event but yeah i'm gonna have some coffee and eat some
eggs and tortillas and it's good life is good just trying to evenly you know
so we just had breakfast they're having a children's
thing going on right now so we're gonna take ember over there let her blow off some steam
so
before descend was over i decided to put my camera down and truly live in the moment and
if i'm being honest this was not my most fun year at descend but it was the most genuine year i've
experienced so far it was amazing seeing old friends and making new ones i left to send this
year with a fire in my heart i was truly inspired and somehow this year changed my life i did a lot
of self-reflecting and i decided that i want to take this year and come back next year as the
person i'm inspiring to be right now until next year thank you so much for watching i'll see you
