Today I'm doing something I absolutely dread - getting my full body checked for skin cancer. As a 3-time skin cancer survivor, these appointments never get easier.
I'm beyond grateful that Nivine is taking me to see Dr. Jacqueline Hakim, our amazing dermatologist, but that doesn't stop me from being a nervous wreck in the waiting room. Watch as I stress out, try to lighten the mood with some jokes, and wait anxiously for the results.
If you've ever put off a skin check or ignored a suspicious mole, this video is your reminder to get it looked at. Early detection saves lives.

ABOUT SKIN CANCER:
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. Regular full-body skin checks are crucial, especially if you have a history of sun exposure, fair skin, or previous skin cancer diagnoses. Always wear sunscreen and see a dermatologist annually (or more frequently if you're high-risk like me).
