I Rode My Motorcycle Into an Abandoned Underground Military Base

Solo motorcycle travel through the Balkans takes a wild turn. I crossed Bulgaria, Bosnia, Serbia, and Croatia — discovering incredible roads, war-scarred landscapes, and one of the most surreal places I’ve ever seen: Zeljava Air Base. This abandoned Cold War military base is hidden inside a mountain, with kilometers of pitch-black underground tunnels — and I rode my bike straight into it.
