Moto Camping Trip to a SECRET SPOT on the Washington BDR + Bridge of the Gods on a Motorcycle

Motorcycle Adventure Tour

When a buddy invited me along on a moto camping trip to a TOP SECRET dispersed camping spot just off Route 1 of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route, I said yes almost immediately. This was my first out of state motorcycle camping trip and my first time riding or camping in Washington state. The motorcycle road trip to get there took us on I-84 through the Columbia Gorge and eventually over the famous Bridge of the Gods. This steel grate bridge spans the width of the Columbia River and provided us with some amazing views of the Gorge and surrounding areas as we crossed. Afterward, we followed along the Washington BDR until we turned down an abandoned logging road toward our secret motocamping spot. This was an amazing place for dispersed camping, right next to a creek and incredibly secluded and off the beaten path. These are my absolute favorite types of moto camping destinations. After setting up camp, we enjoyed some beverages, ate dehydrated meals for dinner (I did not enjoy mine AT ALL), hung out with friends, discussed the nearby wildlife including the famous Pacific Northwest Sea to Summit Manta Ray, enjoyed a Mr. Puff Puff, and basically had a great time chatting and hanging out around the fire pit. (no fires due to fire season restrictions, but Beards provided a great campfire alternative for us to enjoy). This was a fantastic Africa Twin Motorcycle Camping trip with great friends and a fantastic ride and destination. I hope you enjoy this motocamping trip video!
