
Japan’s Prime Minister Has Landslide Win in Snap Election
Japan Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi sweeping a landslide election win earlier today—securing a super majority in the parliament.
Japanese media reports her ruling coalition has won more than two-thirds of the lower house, the more powerful of the country’s two-chamber parliament.
The big win is paving the way for Takaichi's agenda which aims to boost Japan’s economy and military capabilities to counter China.
