In this travel documentary, I’ll show you how to spend 3 relaxed days in Bangkok — from discovering cozy cafés and local food spots, to wandering creative neighborhoods, night markets, and meeting friends across the city.
Whether it’s your first time in Bangkok or you’ve been here before, this guide focuses on experiencing the city in a more local, everyday way — blending food, cafés, and neighborhoods into an easy, unhurried journey through Bangkok.
Bangkok. After living in Bangkok for over half a year, I've come to know the city in a more local
everyday way. In this video, we're spending three days meeting up with friends, eating great local
food at some of our favorite spots, discovering cozy cafes, and enjoying Bangkok in a relaxed
everyday way. Let me show you how to travel Bangkok. We started our day at Galilee Oasis,
a small creative space hidden away near MBK.
Quiet courtyards, art-filled corners, and people just taking their time.
From there, we made a quick stop at the Ong An Canal area. It was a brief stop, but enough to
feel the contrast, colorful buildings, murals along the water, and locals moving through their day.
For lunch, we headed to Polo Fried Chicken, a Michelin-recognized spot and a true Bangkok
classic. The chicken was simple, crispy, and packed with flavor. Later in the afternoon,
we stopped by Central Park Bangkok Mall, one of the newer additions to the city.
What really drew us here was the rooftop park, a green open space sitting right above the city.

To end the day, we headed to Tichuca Rooftop Bar.
We started the morning with a coffee at Bean's Coffee Roaster.
From Songwhat, we wandered back into Talat Noi Art Street.
Even after multiple visits, this area never loses its charm.
Somewhere in between the art and the alleyways,
we stopped at a small chocolate bar tucked away in the art street.
For lunch, we kept things simple and local at Big Su Beef Noodle,
one of my favourite places in Bangkok.
After eating, we took a walk through the Kong Sui area and into Long Dang Dang alley,
a quiet stretch right next to the river.
In the evening, we made our way to Ban That Thong Road.
This street has become one of Bangkok's go-to food areas.
We started the morning at Rolling Roasters,
a spacious coffee spot that feels more like a creative hub than a cafe.
From there, we headed to Space and Time Cube at Sikan Banke.
For dinner, we had a reservation at Copper Beyond Buffet at Gaysorn Amarin Mall.
A unique luxury buffet that you won't find anywhere else.
We ended our final night at Tripper, a small jazz bar in the Talad Noi area.
