Serhii Kalinichenko vs Matt Mask ｜ EvW XX Full Match

We move on with the card ladies and gentlemen at the third match of the evening and what an incredible one this promises to be as we see Ukraine face Canada in what promises to be thunder and lightning here in Zurich. This will be contested over five rounds on the left arm in the men's heavyweight division and I'd like you to welcome firstly this athlete making his way now to the arm wrestling table, he is a rising star in the heavyweight division hailing from and representing Ukraine, welcome Kalina Sergey Kalinichenko. A pumped and amped Sergey Kalinichenko waits at the table for the introduction of his opponent who hails from and is proudly representing Red Deer Canada East versus West, arm wrestling fans put your hands together for the man who cannot be tamed he is known as the Wild Horse Matt and it's about to go down, it is going down ladies and gentlemen Sergey Kalina Kalinichenko and the Wild Horse Matt Mask here we go on the stats the younger man Kalinichenko mask 43 years of age and lighter at 105 kilograms but will the weight make a difference at this higher weight division ring. We will see Kalina is returning after a gruesome injury he suffered more than five six years ago this is I would say his first real left-handed super match and if someone hits you hard that might be Matt Mask. That is going to be a test obviously when you suffer a massive injury like we saw Sergey Kalinichenko those demons can keep you awake at night can haunt you and the last person you want jumping all over your arm in that kind of scenario is the man from Red Deer Alberta Canada Matt Mask a towering figure at six feet six inches tall electric speed he's vibrant, we will learn so much from this first start be ready Kalinichenko felt like he'd done more work than mask could be more focused than mask that's okay in your own mind but when you get to the big stage when you get under the lights you've got to back it up and now is that moment Kalinichenko mask. I'm interested to see where this goes Kalina is known for his insane hand control the match that he had versus Travis Bagent where Travis just couldn't get out of that grip let's see if he can do the same thing with his left hand certainly a versatile arm wrestler right we have seen the repertoire of style the technical prowess that he's got look at the face of Matt Mask they're revving it up as the hand comes down watch for that explosive hit from Canada looking to capitalize on that but Kalinichenko would love to put the brakes on early and it will be a strap match let's never count out Matt Mask he brings the intensity he's running high of his recent victory on left hand versus incredibly electrifying puller this guy's got enormous amounts of speed to back up the leverage advantages but you can almost see Kalina going through the gears they're looking to try to close down the light a little bit on Matt Mask effectively try to shut down the space and preventing moving Sean Crowther and no limits Devin Larratt in the corner of the man from Canada and look at the face of Kalinichenko studious yes literally trying to break down the movement of mask and looking closely at the hands and wrists whenever he's got the opportunity to do so look at the depth on the palm of Kalinichenko trying to punch that palm forward into the match and utilize the lower two fingers as a little bit of a stop that is not easy with a man with this kind of leverage and down come the hands on Matt Mask here comes the wrap for Kalinichenko be ready go on the way we go Matt Mask goes wild and that's where the name comes from some men cannot be tamed and Matt Mask explodes into the hand of Sergey Kalinichenko if you wait you lose ******* all ******* day Sergey all ******* day Kalinichenko unable to get the brakes on and look at the face there from mask he didn't quite make it on that first attempt but the second was enough and look at that hand dominance gained early there's a second hit buried Matt Mask with the pin absolutely spectacular Matt Mask is fired up always the fan favorite and I have the saying when Matt Mask is winning Armwrestling is winning and we saw it right here in the venue here in Zurich Switzerland for East vs West 20 for round number two it's about 40 seconds away they don't need it and Matt Mask back up there at the table he doesn't want to wait one minute he is right in there and Kalinichenko there may be making a slight mistake comes up straight away still had time now you first is and will be facing away from the head referee Krzysztof Delejakov of Bulgaria now take your shoulder don't yes yes yes yes yes take the shoulder don't move your shoulder and it's Matt Mask gets in this kind of situation let's see what happens now referees grip expect we'll see the strap again don't move go big drive there and it's going to be a huge elbow foul hand and finger control Matt Mask doesn't even allow Sergey Kalinichenko to slip but his demeanor completely changed yeah in the same way that we heard from No Limits Devin Lara Musk referring yesterday to his left arm as the little brother that doesn't get out much but when he shows up he really shows up and I'll tell you what tonight okay at East vs West 20 he's shown up definitely this is looking insanely great performance from Matt Mask which said his left arm has been making waves and now it's making waves on East vs West stage and I don't see a strap ******* running from me ******* can he was able to hold hold his elbow on a pad when starting to get into his running ray if you look now Matt he's really settled down a little bit mate yes he's a PG version of Matt Mask Kalina told us in an interview that he has yes yes yes an open top roll every time every time his left arm is his open top roll so let's see if you can actually see it now let's take a short bound up trip down memory lane to Canada a few years ago when these guys met on the right arm no no stay at the ******* table don't ******* go anywhere that match started in a similar fashion Matt Mask came out of the gates blindingly well went two nil up I believe maybe remember he can't move now right can we see something similar on the left arm that's a good question that's a good question or is Matt Mask going to make it count because right now in the early running yes East vs West 20 brought here tonight remember in association with triple x x fitness shop.ch it's good yes tonight's main sponsor in this absolute armwrestling extravaganza as we go into the referee's grip mask centering by one pin that's the taller athlete don't move your shoulder along with a shaved head Sergey he trails by one pin don't move your shoulder shoulder back this shoulder back okay don't move the shoulder guys now looking extremely dominant inside and outside the strap let's see yeah what Kalina will do in a round number two and it's getting closed expect an explosive start I'm learning much better from Sergey much better was protecting his hand maybe one warning for Matt Mask stay here don't move your shoulder don't move your shoulder do not blink ladies and gentlemen we are underway but Kalina Tchenko in much better shape here starts to get some and that was the world of Kalina Tchenko there Matt Mask forced to elbow foul but he was not in any kind of comfortable position there Ray Lipinge well ladies and gentlemen we are in an armwrestling match make some noise everyone knows if one of these guys is in a match it's going to be something amazing and we have both of them at the same time going against each other we went from a top roll to a hook let's see what happens now much more considered approach from Matt Mask needs to make sure that he's not selling the hits there as he did on that occasion he was a little bit nervy on the starts time to adjust them one thing that you can say watch me i will fix it i will fix that the last one okay but first center this way a little bit here center yeah straight your shoulder and don't move your shoulder okay say the shoulder don't move your shoulder he is technically proficient and very diligent very carefully okay unfortunately we don't have the speed on our headsets so i cannot hear what he's saying there some technical issue which will probably get rectified shortly but go better turned inside ladies and gentlemen and Kalinichenko tightens and comes deep starts to apply that pressure never to the side he's all it needs he's still trying to get him under control i felt something in my chest so i didn't want to push you explosive individuals one one here at east versus west 20 ray it is on it's absolutely on i'm i'm i'm so excited look at this goes for a top roll Kalina gets the hand cups the hand deeper they end up in a hook and we know left-handed left-handed Matt Mask does have a hook and then he transitions to a press and finishes it listen Kalina there definitely something in the back of his mind there's a little worriedness the last time he pulled on a world stage he did get injured with his left arm but he's going through the paces we haven't seen the top roll yet but we have seen inside press this is awesome 30 seconds till next round i'm actually getting texts from my mom which said like Matt Mask is going absolutely crazy we're in front of a sold out crowd here in Zurich Switzerland and they are getting an opportunity to witness a spectacular match here as Red Deer Canada's own Matt the wild horse Mask and Sergei Kalinichenko are head to head and one one all square as we head into round number three here in this best of five clash fitness take your shoulder okay what do you think is the challenge now to get to the stand for Kalina cause he can use better his hand power well the number of things were evident in that last start Ray and the biggest one was that there is a significant difference in arm strength Kalina did not have a great position early but he had enough power to sacrifice it that's much better from Mask and I think we've got an elbow foul elbow fall from Sergei Kalinichenko like I said getting to the straps might be a problem right now Matt Mask is known for that boom and top roll perhaps less so for the hand strength but believe me this guy's hand is absolutely venomous there don't move the shoulder and it supports that enormous leverage when he finds his spot he's a very difficult man to contain all the fingers come the hands we are in the referee's grip comes down the hand of Mask underway and we slip through the door to the strap tray still said he needs to be very careful he has one elbow foul and at this pace at this speed that Matt operates it's very hard to keep your elbow on the pad Matt is still in this match I close first right like if Matt can go outside Kalina can get in with the strap don't want to see a second foul okay give me give me a little bit more we're on my side of the table right but he was far less confident yes when he went into that second round the real question is the last round Kalinichenko didn't have the buckle the buckle was don't go high so that means this time Matt might have a better fight especially if you know what you're doing and it's not moving okay rotate and give the center now in this capacity crowd inside don't move your shoulder I'm not moving the shoulder we saw the Swiss open throughout today 1700 plus fans are packed in tonight for east versus west 20 brought to you in association with triple x fitness this time much better for Matt much better for Matt oh you just put your ******* arm down can you hold it can you hold it he wants to get inside and he wants to keep his hand we saw it this morning more Kalina has did that it's not like Matt is completely out of sight towards Kalino but I would say Kalina is in control center has got to go that way rotate rotate Kalina don't go in Kalina is saying that there's too big of a difference between the damsel don't move your shoulders I'm not moving together mask needs that early start needs to be a warning one warning for Serhii Kalinichenko making sure that he spotted it hugely surprising Kalina's teammate in this corner yeah he's seeing something he doesn't like or maybe this he likes I don't know either that or a ghost of some description going back round number three a lot of fighting in referee's grip one warning for Matt because you have me way too low you run over my thumb if you are going over you will cover the knuckle Matt must just making the point that he felt he was being set too low for who no I yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna chase you all ******* day long one morning each one warning one foul because you know what he's trying to do right you know exactly what he's making sure okay center this way okay one foul one warning we are sat in our commentary position behind side of Luke Pulcher who's watching here on the monitor only fingers Kalina as he's he's crunching hard now straight now straight don't move go much better position must try to hold it up needs to keep that was definitely close I don't know if that was a thing and the wild horse explodes here in the venue in Zurich and you can see what it meant to him there two won the score and the silver tongue cavalier of Red Deer Canada lights up let's take a look at that again hit one hit two hit three another kid hit four and that was no that was low let's take a look two to one two to one when he gets the devil in him he's a hard man to stop Matt Maas takes it to two pins wow what an incredible matchup Matt Maas Sergey Kalinichenko we just got a shot of yourself Ray on the camera there and you're looking pretty sexy and things are looking good for Matt Maas at this point in time he seems to have found that he's adjusting very well let's go especially to get strapped up and the straps not perfect Kalina is back in the match we see Devon Larratt there in Matt Maas corner 10 seconds till next round referee's grip let's see if they can go straight to the straps Matt Maas says no thank you for the strap Matt just needs one pin if Matt Maas can take one pin he wins this left-handed heavyweight matchup me first this time right yeah you will be first stay to shoulder shoulder shoulder back okay don't move the shoulders guys hands are getting closed wants to get that good start again big drive and I'll tell you what it the reacted quick as Matt getting to the A-side gets out of dodge and we will see the strap Kalina wanted that quick pin he wanted that quick pin so bad 2-1 if Matt Maas is ahead of you it's not a nice position to be in everything can end in a second if you don't pay enough attention what was most impressive there was the way that Sergey Kalinichenko rallied himself and managed to get in early he was the fastest away there he initiated the movement Kalinichenko wants that strap higher placement on the wrist right now it all comes down already to endurance there's more endurance who took more damage and the last time his hand was facing away from the referee we're staying the referee's grip don't pull don't pull I'm saying off it was Kalinichenko who set the hook and secured the pin shoulders don't move your shoulder Kalinichenko can he do so again Kalina first now Matt Maas leading if I go any more straighter it's going to be backwards he was ready to give up that hand really quick two things prominent there that's a warning right Matt Maas now has a little bit better idea of what's coming from Kalina and we wonder whether that'll change the game we see Devon Larratt there in the background giving instructions this is an awesome this is awesome armwrestling match this is what we want to see two great athletes explosive versatile now it's Matt first down come the hands first to be wrapped will be he's ******* doing this one warning one warning for Matt Maas one warning for Matt Maas one warning one warning guys be careful let's go guys come on on top of the action don't move your shoulder shoulder shoulder straight to shoulder yes a little bit more give me give me don't move rotate rotate now it's Serhii first rotate for the wrap first Kalinichenko now must be ready ladies and gentlemen how is that not ******* moving on him you together together you move because he's ******* i'm copying what he's still trying to give both men an opportunity there i always want to correct when Krzysztof says let's play armwrestling i don't think we play around at armwrestling you said don't move open open the thumb good decision really for me there lost the match we will get to see that second warning for Serhii Kalinichenko pushing the shoulder in Matt is meeting him right in the center one foul for Serhii Kalinichenko one foul for Serhii Kalinichenko straight to shoulder straight that shoulder slow him down a little needs a little bit of separation center here pound to pound rotate don't knife him now it's Serhii first Kalinichenko to be wrapped first the hands do not blink ladies and gentlemen go high mass this is insane this is insane it's tense when you're watching but if you're at the table and he's far more so one foul each that's good don't move your shoulder who can hold their nerve here Kalinichenko two on the score to the man from Canada from those hands **** you hey **** you **** you what a match what a match Serhii Kalinichenko giving his all Matt Mask with an awesome win over Matt versus Serhii Kalinichenko holy **** my ******* arm is fucked now because of you you cunt i hope you didn't bring your kids guys what an awesome match back and forth we saw it round one opening up with a great top roll from Matt Mask round two was a different story so this match was alive and this like Matt Mask looked amazing inside outside Serhii with that awesome press right there everyone knew this match will be an absolute back and forth battle but i don't think a lot of people predicted that Matt Mask will take the win and we go to Neil Pika for post-match interview i don't know my left is ******* better than my right ladies and gentlemen i am here with your winner the wild horse Matt, Matt while the replay was spinning there you were saying sometime my left shows up it was iron tonight and you were in a really nervy dramatic match but it was electrifying brother i ******* hate pull up with my left i'm gonna be so fucked for the next month now but hey was it worth it of course it was ******* worth it all right now you're making quite a habit of getting into bangers on the left arm Matt Kalinichenko and yourself went back and forth we saw the match with Zyrakashvili that was on fire who is next and on what arm i want a right arm match i want to pull the winner between Yoshi Petro and then after that i want another ******* title shot at 105 or whoever the **** i gotta pull to get to that 105 in the right arm because whoever's holding that belt i'm ******* coming for you now Matt obviously as that match started to progress there it got a little nervy you started incredibly well in the middle rounds it was a bit switchy how concerned were you at that point or did you know you had it in the bag ah after round number two i was super concerned i couldn't feel my hand i couldn't feel my arm when we went end up going to hook into round number two i felt like a rip rip rip in my peck so we'll see what color it is tonight but somehow i managed to ******* pull it off so thank you Sergey appreciate you and just before i let you go you were feeding off the crowd tonight this place with electric how's it been here in Zurich isn't it ******* awesome here huh yeah i ******* love all you motherfuckers just ******* feed me i love it i'm so ******* full right now i gotta go take a big ---- so ladies and gentlemen your winner from Red Deer Alberta Canada Matt the Wild Horse
