North Carolina got slammed by a major winter storm, dropping around 13 inches of snow here in Troutman, NC — one of the biggest snowfalls we’ve seen in years ❄️🥶

We spent the day playing in the snow with my daughter, making snow angels, sledding, and doing things a Florida boy probably shouldn’t 😂 I banged up my hand and nearly broke my tailbone jumping into the snow, but it was 100% worth it.

When we finally warmed up, I cooked chicken tacos to recover from the cold and chaos 🌮🔥
Snow outside, tacos inside — perfect snow day.

This storm shut things down across North Carolina and had everyone talking, so we made the most of it and had a blast as a family.
