It's two things I know you want. You either want to sleep all day or you want to eat treats all day. Probably both. It's a good idea bro. Maybe we should do that today. Sleep and eat treats. Sounds good to me. Oh no. I think the hose accidentally pushed the premium button. I pushed this button but I think the hose when it swung around hit. We're putting premium. We're gonna we're gonna stop that. Um well it's better to put premium in here than accidentally putting diesel. It's pretty sad that 130 some odd dollars and we're not even at three quarters of a tank. How sad is that? There's a park ranger. I'll go drive through and see if there's a spot open. Everything's all self-register this time of year. You just go pick one, fill out the envelope, put your money in the box and you're good to go. I don't feel like doing a whole lot today. Coming to the campground seemed like just a good idea. I think it's uh been snowing a lot out there. Oh damn. Whoa. My friends we got some snow. When I pulled in here there was like maybe a quarter of an inch. Well I'm glad we came here anyway. Hey cruisy. You should see what's out there bro. He's like no thanks. Man we're having a lazy lazy day in here today. I've been underneath my covers all day watching tv and stuff. I was thinking today maybe I'd spend some time and clean the van but that didn't happen. It is. Look at me. I'm covered in dog hair. My van's covered in dog hair. Lazy days in the van are sometimes some of the best. You know snuggled up to your dog. Seriously look at look at the hair. Me and cruisy have been snuggling all day. This is ridiculous. Well it stopped snowing. That's pretty deep. Look at that all fell today. That's what maybe five inches maybe. That looks so cool. Something I've thought about a few times is to put one of those porch lights I have outside right here. That way I can hit a switch here and light up outside of my window here. Just like one switch here. So this would be awesome to kind of take a quick peek and see what's out there. Like even if you're in the middle of the night and you hear a noise just hit the switch and lights up right here. It's cold out there. Temperature outside is minus five. Feels like minus eight and overcast. Still has a snowfall warning for East Vancouver Island from Fanny Bay to Duncan which is right spanned in the area that I'm in. When this morning accumulation two to four centimeters. So really honestly nothing. It's cold. Looks like cloudy and sunny and a little bit better sunny towards the end of the day. Nice and clear overnight. Okay. I'm watching my Ontario meetup video. This is such a fun video. If you guys haven't seen this video I had a meetup in Ontario. And uh let's go back to the beginning. And I get a chance to go watch everything that happened in just about every day of my journey. That's why I like uploading so many videos. This one was a really fun really fun memory. Okay I gotta get out of bed. We're gonna put on clean socks today too. Watch your head cruisy. Oh sorry buddy. So I use this whole entire cupboard as my laundry. I got my laundry bag in there and then I just shove everything in it. Sometimes I just get lazy and don't feel like putting it in the bag. I just wedge it in the hole. It works. Oh whoa holy cow. Oh yeah that's a lot of snow my friends. It was like maybe four inches before I went to bed last night. And it's still snowing. A little bit though. This is really really beautiful. We're gonna shut the door though. Bro you should see it out there now buddy. It's gone crazy. I left my porch lights on. So imagine what how cool it would be to have a switch here and a light right outside that window. You could turn it on and see anything that's going on outside. I think that's a pretty good idea because I have that over here on the side door. One switch, the first one there, lights up all four corners. So both sides, front and back corners. And then I have a porch light that just lights up just my porch. That amount of light right there is from one light. That little guy right there. So but when I turn the corners on it lights up everything. But that little guy. How cool would it be to have one of those over there by that window. Because there's many times when I'm like lying in bed at night and you need to look out the window. Pretty great. But this little curtain man wow. All this is is just a thin little piece of blackout fabric. When this is shut you feel no draft. When this is open believe it or not this little thing has quite the insulation factor. I feel no breeze at all when that's shut. I always keep double bedding with me. So on days when I feel like my bed's getting dirty I can just change it over here instead of having to go to a laundromat. So we're gonna do new pillows, new everything. I used to only carry one. I'd have one set of these things. But they get dirty like you know. Especially when you're living in your van and you don't have a chance to like shower on a regular. Where you're like two times a day showers or every day showers. In the van sometimes you get a chance to get a shower every few days or once a week. And your bedding gets quite dirty. We're a bunch of dirty van dwellers aren't we Cruzy. That and you get to bed all gross and slobbery from right here. Right here just gets yucky bro. It does. Warms up the underside of the bed. So my heater and my heater ducting system is right underneath there. So keeps the underside of the bed a little warm. None of this stuff is easy in a small space Cruzy. Cruzy you see the other pillowcase? There it is. Get in there buddy. You're slowly getting your floor back. I've seen a lot of people in the comments saying that I needed to get Cruzy a puppy bed for inside the van. He hates puppy beds. I used to have him one at the shop. He hated it. He didn't like it at all. And I've also seen people say that I need to get him a cushion for the front seat while he's up there. That way he's nice and comfortable. He hates that too. He all he wants is to be on the bare seat. I've tried putting a seat cover cover on it. He hates that too. Yeah he just wants to be on the seat. He doesn't like cushions or padding or things like that. He's weird that way. So if my puppy wanted a puppy bed that little spoiled bugger would get the biggest most plush puppy bed he ever wanted. And I am no stranger to spoiling my dog. And if he needed those things you darn right he'd have one. He's like yeah dad hurry up put the blankets on so I can get back up into my big old puppy bed. That's how I do it in the van. I get the blanket to the bottom by kicking my feet. You know got that you know in a regular home you just stand up and you shake her into place. But in here where I can't stand up and shake anything into place I use my feet to kick the into the bottom side of the cover. And it works. Done deal. That's it every last drop. I use this uh this is another duvet cover. This one's a flannel one. I use this duvet cover as just an extra blanket right now. It works quite well. All right now let's see if all this dirty bedding will fit inside this little cubby. I don't think so. So when Cruz had bladder stones the other year the number one thing to that was to get more and more and more liquid into him. So what I started to do is every day he gets one of these boxes. It's like just canned food sort of it but in a box. He gets one of these with maybe one or two of these empty containers full of water into it. And he likes it clearly. It's not this we're going to give you real food for breakfast bro. So he gets this with probably 500 mils of water. One of these a day just to ensure that he's getting enough water into his diet. And here's Cruz's breakfast. He is getting butcher block with this one's turkey and this one's fish. But we have to let this thaw out bro. So these ones are actually all raw meat. So it contains 55% bone-in turkey, beef heart, vegetables, and beef organ. He's like I'll eat that. And the fish one contains 55% wild salmon, 20% beef heart, 15% vegetables, and 10% beef organ. So we're gonna thaw both of these out and he's gonna get one pound one pound of food for breakfast. So being that we're at the campground here we're surrounded by trees. Using Starlink is not an option. So in these moments I just tether my cell phone data to my computer. We're not getting good cell service like two bars. But enough to get me through like needing music or anything like that. I'm probably not uploading a video on that one in a timely manner. Like two bars of data on the tower that's around here. I could upload a video but it might take about three hours. So it depends. If I sit here all day then that's going to be our upload option. Just exporting my video. It's been a good nice couple of days of just sitting in the van and relaxing. It's been a while since I've had like you know real good long indoor van days. Snow days are really good for this. Good to just kind of be at home and watch some Netflix and play around on the computer and and uh just chilling the van home you know. We've been so caught up and busy lately at the shop and doing projects and stuff that it feels good to just park it you know. Better come back in buddy. Here I come. Hi Creezy. But uh some days lately I get caught up in the drone footage and the creative stuff and these these I know sometimes are just good to share.
