Trentino vs Cuneo | Highlights | Italian Volleyball League 2026. Itas Trentino delivered a convincing home performance in the Italian SuperLega 2025/26, defeating MA Acqua S. Bernardo Cuneo 3–0 in a match played yesterday at the BTS Arena in Trento. The set scores were 25–16, 26–24, and 25–20, as Trentino controlled the match and secured a valuable straight-sets victory.
Trentino set the tone immediately in the opening set, imposing a fast tempo and strong pressure from the service line. Their blocking and transition play allowed them to build an early lead, and they closed the set comfortably at 25–16 without allowing Cuneo to find rhythm.
The second set proved to be the most competitive phase of the match. Cuneo raised their level and pushed Trentino into a tense finish, even holding set points late in the set. Trentino showed composure and experience in the decisive moments, overturning the score and winning the set 26–24, which became the key turning point of the match.
With momentum firmly on their side, Trentino carried their confidence into the third set. They maintained control through solid side-out play and a disciplined block-defense system, eventually closing the match with a 25–20 win and sealing the 3–0 result.
Jordi Ramon was one of the standout players of the match and was named MVP after delivering an efficient and impactful performance in attack, finishing with 16 points. Bristot also played an important role, contributing 13 points and making his presence felt at the net. Faure added stability and scoring in key moments, while Torwie contributed across all fundamentals. Trentino’s dominance at the net was clear, as they finished the match with a total of 14 blocks.
On the other side, Cuneo fought hard, particularly in the second set. Feral led the team offensively with 16 points and remained Cuneo’s most consistent scoring option throughout the match. Despite their effort, Cuneo struggled to maintain pressure over the full duration against a disciplined Trentino side.
With this victory, Trentino strengthened their position near the top of the SuperLega standings, while Cuneo remained in the lower part of the table as the regular season continued.
