Hey guys, today we're gonna do a super cool tour
of one of our absolute favorite motor coach resorts
in the country.
It's Hilton Head Motor Coach,
and it's here in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
This motor home park is only for Class A, B, and C
type campers, and they will not allow bumper pulls.
That was how it was originally designed.
Spot has 328 sites.
Pool, beautiful pool, which we're gonna show you.
We're gonna show you the pickleball courts, tennis courts,
and we're gonna take you for a nice tour here,
so you'll see why it's one of our absolute favorite parks.
The one thing that you will notice about this park
is just all the shade and the coverage.
Trees are super mature,
so there's lots of shade on every single lot,
and you'll notice a lot of people riding their bikes.
You cannot have skateboards and things like that
in this park, but you can definitely ride bikes,
and bikes are everywhere.
So this is the office.
This is where they have guest check-in,
and one of the nice things here
is everybody gets accompanied to their lot
and help back in.
The guys are super helpful.
Let's go over here and check out the dog park.
So you'll notice there's a super nice dog park.
It's not huge, but it's a great place to bring your dogs.
Once again, tons of shade.
And the other thing that's cool about Hilton Head
is you can ride your bikes everywhere,
and they actually have lots of rental bike places,
and they've brought bike racks out.
So if you're going to rent a bike while you're here,
you can call one of these companies,
and they'll just deliver them right here for you.
Okay, let's get inside the gate
and check out some of the cool amenities.
So this is the area where you check in.
You unhook here.
They have three staging lanes,
and the guys will come and get you here
and take you into the park.
So it's super easy to get in,
plenty of room to unhook no matter how big your rig is.
Our rig is 45 feet, plus the toad,
and it's more than enough space there
to very easily get unhooked
and get situated and come inside.
The other thing that's really cool is this gate code.
They take their gate very seriously.
They do not give out a gate code,
so there's not lots of random people walking in and out.
You do have to have a card,
which they'll give you two cards when you check in
as a guest.
Let's go for a tour and check out some of the lots,
and then we'll come back
and check out some of the amenities.
Here's something else that's really cool.
You'll notice throughout the park,
they have hitching areas.
So on some of the straightaways,
and you'll see it's marked here on the pavement,
and you can pull up here when you're getting ready to leave.
The other thing that's nice
is all of these lots are privately owned,
so you'll notice they have all sorts of different decor.
Some of them are pull-throughs.
Most of them are back ends,
but they have tons and tons of space to back in,
and you'll notice if you look at each of these lots,
they all have a different decor because they're owned.
So people put out nice furnishings
and umbrellas and grills.
Some have pavers.
Some are coated,
but overall, every lot is its own unique character,
but they're all very, very, very nice.
You can see all the shade for the coaches,
how much shade goes over all of them,
and I mean, all these lots are plenty big enough.
They'll handle any size rig that you wanna bring in here.
Now, starting here on the right,
these are all lakefront lots,
and they have a super nice fountain out there.
These pull in.
They're actually, because they're class A only,
they pull in, and with them pulling in,
you can see exactly, you know,
your front window is the lake.
It's not a huge lake, but it's a nice lake,
and you'll notice there's just all sorts
of different kinds of coaches here,
just a beautiful coach,
and right now, we're here.
It's the first part of June,
so a lot of the snowbirds and owners have gone home,
so you'll notice a lot of the coaches are closed up,
but also, there's a pretty fair amount of empty sites.
This is actually a year-round resort.
Lots of people come here for vacation,
and they'll bring their families,
and you'll see why here in a second
when we get over to some of the amenities.
This park is actually very kid-friendly.
You know, a lot of times,
these RV resorts aren't necessarily kid-friendly.
This one in particular really is,
and that's why you'll notice a lot of families
come here for vacation, even though they don't own.
So, they got swings, nice shuffleboard.
It's all been redone.
They just redid the basketball court here
since we were here last, and it looks super nice.
They have a nice playground,
and once again, it's all in the shade,
and as a parent, coming to a park
that's in the shade is huge,
because in Florida, so many parks didn't have shade,
which I never quite understood.
They got balls out here for the kids to play with,
and they got a nice bike area,
so if you need to work on your bike, it's got a pump.
I mean, how cool is that?
So very, very thoughtful.
They just have a lot of small attention
to detail amenities, which are really nice.
So, this is one of the coolest things here,
is actually have a dog wash,
and get the shower, and everything.
You can just look in there.
I'm not gonna unhook all of it,
but what a nice thing when you come back from the beach,
because you can actually take your dog on the beach here,
and that's one of our favorite things.
Norman loves the beach, so we'll take him to the beach,
and when we're done, we'll bring him down here
and give him a bath.
Over here, they have got a really nice gym.
I mean, it's fully functioning in really, really nice shape.
And they have a super nice laundry area.
A lot of people have laundry inside of their coaches,
but a lot of people don't as well.
You wanna go in and check out the clubhouse while we're here?
And this is the common area clubhouse.
They have an owner's clubhouse upstairs,
which is just for the owners,
but you can come in here if you need to work,
just have a place to chill out and get out of the coach.
And people ask us all the time,
how do we live in our space?
And the answer to that question is,
we don't live in it all the time.
We come out and enjoy these places.
Jason and I came over here the other day.
We were working on a video.
They have a nice coffee bar, water,
and you're welcome to that,
which I think it just shows how nice this resort is.
This truly is an RV resort.
This is not a campground.
They have men's and ladies' restrooms
that also have showers in them,
so you can come over if you need it.
You know, if you're in a hurry, sometimes we'll do that.
We'll use the clubhouse.
So this is the clubhouse.
All the tables expand.
They have game night here.
They have different entertainers that come in.
So let's go out here and look and see what's going on
on the backside of the clubhouse.
They have two tennis courts,
and these were, I believe, since we were here, just redone.
They used to have all tennis courts,
but of course, as we all know,
Pickleball has taken over a lot of the tennis courts.
So we're gonna go over and check out
the Pickleball area here in a second.
You'll notice they have a nice green space out here.
Just nice places to sit.
The umbrellas over the chairs.
The kids can play, run around.
They got cornhole.
They got horseshoes over there.
Over here, you'll notice they got a fire pit.
They got ping pong, some checkers, and things like that.
Once again, just another area to come and be outside
and spend time as a family.
This is something that's really cool also.
Check this out.
So a lot of times when you're going to the beach,
you need to grab ice.
They actually installed an ice maker.
So you can come over here if you wanted to get,
they do water and ice.
So let's go check out the Pickleball courts,
and then we'll go look at the pool.
This may be our very favorite part of the whole resort,
aside from the pool.
They have one court down right now.
I know they're working on it,
but they have six super nice Pickleball courts,
all of which have just recently been redone.
They have balls for you to play with.
And you'll notice that in the afternoon,
there's shade on this court.
So people in the afternoon will play down here.
In the morning, they all play down
on the first court down there because it's in the shade.
It makes for a great place.
And our spot we chose is literally right across from here.
So we can just walk out the front door
and be at Pickleball or the pool
or whatever the case may be.
Here's the pool, and obviously it's beautiful.
It's heated, so it's been super nice for us.
Even though it was a little chill in the air,
we could jump in the pool.
They got chairs and umbrellas all around the pool.
You can see the Tiki Hut down there.
And they have bathrooms out by the pool, showers.
And it's just a class, class, class A place.
And so if you're ever coming to Hilton Head
and you have a motorhome or class B or class C,
I highly recommend this place.
It is definitely one of our absolute favorites
in all of our time on the road.
And we've met some incredibly nice people here,
and I can't suggest it enough.
Make sure to like and subscribe.
Hope you have a great day.
We'll see you guys on the next adventure.
