Behind The Scenes Of Elizabeth Olsen As Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) In The MCU _AOU - WandaVision

So with Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness coming out this year I figured there couldn't be a better time to make another video about Elizabeth Olsen WandaVision and the Scarlet Witch From the moment she appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron I immediately knew she was going to be a valuable addition to the MCU And she has truly become one of the most successful characters to enter the MCU She's clearly portrayed by the incredibly talented beautiful and remarkable Elizabeth Olsen who delivered a standout performance in the acclaimed series WandaVision and is now set to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness According to the rumors leaks and set photos she's supposed to be the villain From the conclusion of WandaVision you could already tell where the story was headed—even before the end-credits scene This Dr Strange The Mortals of Madness is going to blow people away Wanda is going to blow people away literally—there’s going to be a bloodbath I can't wait to see Dr Strange and Wanda as the two main leads in the same movie Anyway I've put together the behind-the-scenes look at Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff the Scarlet Witch from Age of Ultron all the way through to WandaVision So without any further delays let's get to the video Now Age of Ultron we saw Elizabeth Olsen's first appearance in the post-credit scenes for Captain America The Winter Soldier and we had no idea what awaited us And boy oh boy Age of Ultron arrived and then we got to see Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff She wasn't yet known as the Scarlet Witch due to you know legal issues surrounding the character's name and all that But we saw her in this movie siding with Ultron because of what Tony Stark's weapon did to her family among other things And she later discovered that Ultron was just as bad if not worse than the Avengers he claimed he'd dismantle—instead he wanted to destroy the entire damn world That didn’t sit well with them so they switched sides to join the Avengers and helped defeat Ultron By the end of the movie she had become an Avenger This was just the beginning of Wanda's tragedy as she lost her brother in this film and everything went downhill from there Of course she had vision but yes this was just the beginning Now from Avengers: Age of Ultron we go straight into Captain America: Civil War At this point audiences were completely enamored with her character Elizabeth Olsen delivered a standout performance in Age of Ultron and fans were eager to see more of her character in Civil War And straight up things didn’t go her way She made a mistake and it all went to hell That’s when we also saw her and Vision develop some kind of relationship or something blossoming between them We sided with our heroes and Wanda backing Captain America who proved invaluable in the battle At the end of that movie she and the rest of Cap's team were sent to prison but she was rescued by Captain America The movie ended Then we had to wait for the next installment Now with Avengers: Infinity War Wanda and Vision were officially a couple They were top-tier People were already devoted to Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff by this point—she'd won them over since Age of Ultron and she delivered an outstanding performance in this film too But by the end of the film Wanda was finally established as a truly powerful character In Age of Ultron she lost her brother Infinity War she lost her lover From that point on things only got worse Now we enter Avengers Endgame where she was snapped along with the others But when she returned she made her statement She nearly killed Thanos Thanos Freaking Thanos And Feige himself said she was going to kill him just as she could have That was the end for Thanos right there If he hadn’t ordered the blasters—or whatever the ship was supposed to fire down—none of this would have happened But that was one of Wanda’s most powerful moments yet All fooled by grief and loss First her brother then her lover We now enter her own show WandaVision At this point Elizabeth Olsen was beloved worldwide I mean ever since Age of Ultron she'd been generating buzz People adored her Her character became a fan favorite She appeared in Captain America: Civil War and her popularity soared even higher Then in Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame it exploded And then they gave the green light to this show and everything felt perfect again Yes it was But this show was absolutely incredible We got to see the continuation of her story In the Marvel films it's a cinematic universe Here we're all about the laughs I've never been allowed to be funny This is the first time I've ever gotten to be funny as Wanda What a hoot I'm incredibly funny She's absolutely hilarious Extremely funny I think I've got another idea Can I change That dress Yes that dress It's so so covetable It's just that covetable Do you want to talk about your butt Yeah I did want to talk about my butt I'm going to talk about my dress first It helps me stand up straighter And it makes me want to walk like this I have exactly the same thing but with my fake butt Fake butt Yeah it helps me stand properly And it kind of makes me want to do this too This Yeah And it's heartbreaking that all of that was happening you know—she lost her brother and before that it was her appearance something we saw was affecting her from a young age And from then on she was experimented on by those used by Ultron All that chaos ultimately led to her brother's death But at least she found someone to comfort her She found a family—the Avengers Vision—but that too came to an end when Vision died and then the Avengers vanished without a trace No one came to check on her to care for her to see how she was holding up under everything But I suppose that's always what I say It's just a story It's a movie You have to follow certain plot points and plot beats Normally they would have come to comfort her or seek her out to see how she was doing Because they knew about her loss they knew she had lost a brother and now Vision was dead too—no one came and she was swallowed by her grief And then she went and made an even bigger mess enslaving people and all that Hey she did something wrong I mean you might love the character but still she did a bad thing But let's be honest—she also did something you know messed up Created an entirely different Vision and had two children And at last she finally understood what she was doing and released everyone That meant she had to let go of this Vision as well as the two children she had carried And it was heartbreaking to say the least But this meant that in addition to the grief of losing Vision once more and her two children She turned to the Darkhold in the final scene the post-credits scene And here we are now with Doctor Strange in a Multiverse of Madness where she's been corrupted by the Darkhold and is determined to do whatever it takes to get her children back We don't know yet if White Vision will play a role in this movie I hope so because it's also part of her story Doctor Strange in a Multiverse of Madness can't come soon enough I can't wait to see the continuation of her journey and what her actual fate will be in this movie We've seen Elizabeth Olsen in Captain America Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron Infinity War Endgame WandaVision And now we're here to see her again in this highly anticipated film That’s the end of this behind-the-scenes look I hope you enjoyed it And honestly I’m absolutely thrilled for this movie and the chaos that’s about to unfold I think this is going to be the first time Wanda and Doctor Strange meet or interact with each other as they've never crossed paths throughout the entire MCU since their respective debuts They've never spoken to one another yet it's fascinating to see these formidable heroes coming together in a single film—and honestly I have no idea where this is headed I’ve done the test screenings there but I’m not aware of the reshoots they carried out I don’t know what’s changed what they’ve cut out or anything like that So I'm eager to see this movie where it's going to take Wanda corrupted by the Darkhold who desperately wants to find her children at she will do whatever it takes to get them back And now Doctor Strange who is also striving to repair the Multiverse And I can't wait for the journey of our two heroes and what comes after—where this film is headed and how it will reshape the MCU and everything we know If you enjoyed the video please give it a like subscribe and turn on post notifications so you don’t miss any future uploads—I truly appreciate it And please let me know in the comments below who your favorite MCU hero is and how excited you are for this movie Doctor
