Antique Switchblade ASMR Restoration. In this video, I restore an old antique switchblade knife that I found discarded and forgotten. Time, rust, and damage had taken their toll — the blade release mechanism no longer worked, and the knife was completely unusable.
Switchblades are restricted or regulated in many countries, but they remain fascinating historical objects and are highly interesting to collectors. I decided to bring this old knife back to life and show the full restoration process step by step.
During the restoration, I carefully removed rust, polished and sharpened the blade, restored the handle, and repaired the internal mechanism. After many hours of work, the knife functions again — just as it did decades ago.
