I don't think there is any more important test in Clinical medicine, than being able to accurately detect the presence of a pregnancy and a patient with abdominal pain. Knowing how to accurately perform pregnancy test from a Clinical skills perspective is a core tenant of being a safe doctor.

Similarly, being able to reliably explain the steps for pregnancy test is likely to be useful in many consultations and discussions particularly so, if a patient feels that they are pregnant, but has a negative test result, being able to explain and appropriately perform the test is going to be key to helping that Patient
