We made the BEST exhaust system for the M340⧸M440i

Alright everyone, we're back at the RV and GHQ. Below us, we have the brand new sample slash test piece. So we test all our exhausts that we design, obviously before producing them, just to make sure they fit good. This customer also purchased a charge pipe from us. He tried doing the install himself, ended up breaking this little line, so we're gonna replace that. We're gonna put the charge pipe on. We're gonna put the exhaust on with stock downpipes, and then we're also gonna put catless downpipes on the car, and throw the exhaust on so you can kind of hear everything stock. Stock with exhaust, and then catless with exhaust, so. Alright, we got our master technician, Victor, here. Can you see the thing that he broke? Or not yet? It should be easy to replace, so we'll see. Yeah, then this guy will be gone, this stinky stock one, and then we'll get the car up and then we'll do all the other crap, but we'll do this first, even though the engine bay's a little bit hot, but it's all good. Alright, we finally found the charge pipe, the V58. Looks much better than this plastic one right here. Alright, so we're gonna start the car right now, we're gonna get the stock start up, and then let's stop for that flip. Alright, now we're moving on to the exhaust portion. Let's get this stock exhaust off. Okay, what are these? We're gonna need a 10. There's two 10s, and then these are 15s. Okay, so we got the old exhaust off. So our systems, all our systems, we utilize OEM valve functions, meaning that it's not gonna come with new valves, it's not gonna come with a remote. You take the OEM one off, you put it on, right? Some people might not like it because it only opens it a certain amount or whatever else, but the cool thing is we make them completely compatible with pretty much every single aftermarket remote controller. So if you want to, you can use the controller, we just don't include it. Yeah, everything, you know, I mean this is what, five minutes of us putting this thing together? So this little squish right here is obviously for the brace. What we're testing, gonna be testing right now, is if the OEM brace can be used, and if not, then we'll, all of them will come provided with an extended brace. But that's what this little squish is for, because this ---- is so big, we literally made this as large as possible. I mean it's, literally you could not make it larger than this. But I'm telling you, this single style setup where it goes all the way back here, into the quad tip, it's just, it's the best sound for these single turbo cars, because you get all the noise through one pipe, all the gas is driving through one pipe, there's no disturbance, like, just in and out. So we're gonna put the muffler on now, if that lines up good, then we're chilling. This ---- does look fire though, you can't really see because there's no light, but the perforation looks so much better than these fake exhaust tips. Looks dumb, looks stupid. Ours, oh here we go. This looks way better, come on. Stamped logo. Let's show the light, let's show the light, let's flip it up like that. Ooh, that's perforated. Come on gang, ain't nobody doing it like me. That's not true but, that looks so much better. Wow, that system looks sick as ****. Come on, that ---- looks sick. So everything fits, I do think we're gonna make some adjustments to a few things, just so it fits good. It doesn't matter if it fits, if it sucks to install for, like, people at home and stuff like that. But other than that, it looks pretty good. So we're gonna take it for a drive, kind of see how everything looks while you're driving, if we hear any noises and anything like that. And then we're also gonna put downpipes on it, so we'll get to hear that too. We're gonna start it up, rev it, get some sound clips, and then we're gonna throw the downpipe on. What do you think? Like, thoughts, thoughts, honest opinions. I think it sounds good. These cars are super toned down. I mean, if you come over here, so obviously we just did a full exhaust on it, right? But the Gen 2 has no resonators other than the muffler. So even though we just put a full system on it, it still kind of sounds a little bit underwhelming. But that's what the downpipe's for. So we're gonna throw the 5-inch downpipe on right now. It'll really open it up. That's what really holds these cars back is the OEM cap, so we'll hear that right now. Right here, we got the super large, very big 5-inch V58 downpipe. This is what makes these sound good and really opens up the tone of the whole entire car, as you'll see very soon. All right, guys. So OEM, R, B, and G, pretty much the same exact size. Ours actually stays larger towards the end than this one does, but yeah, it's pretty much the same size of the OEM with no cap. All right, getting a little late. It's currently 1101, so I'm a bit tired. But to start it up right now, it's got the catless downpipe and the exhaust. So we're gonna start it, and then we are going to see what it sounds like. We're gonna go take it for a drive, and then we'll be all good. Oh my God, huge difference from OEM, especially with the valves open, I mean. All right, so that's gonna be it for this video. We tested it. We heard the sound clips. I think it sounds great. There are a couple little changes I wanna make, but that's why we test this stuff right before we send it out to customers, just to make sure, you know, it is a user-friendly install and the product works. So gonna make the adjustments that are needed. Other than that, you know, I'm happy. I'm happy with the tips. I think the tips look great. And that's why I like these little single pipe systems. It just makes it so much more of a refined sound, you get a deeper and smoother tone. So yeah, we're gonna keep doing stuff like that. I have the 4.5-inch one for the G80 and the G82, which is gonna go on my big single turbo build, but we are gonna test it on a twin turbo setup first to see how it sounds. I do think all these setups, a lot of people are not doing this, and it sounds completely different from, you know, a lot of the exhausts that are on the market, which all kind of follow the same design. So we wanna do something a little different, but yeah, that's it.
