Part 66 - A Girl Alone Surviving In The Forest | Building a Mud House in the Forest by the Stream
Episode 66 Summary:
After taking a short rest, the girl walks down to the stream to wash her hands. As she bends over the clear water, she suddenly notices something moving inside a narrow rock crevice near the bank. Curious, she stands up and carefully steps closer. Reaching her hand into the crack, she manages to pull out a large crab, still struggling in her grip.
At that very moment, the sky begins to change. Dark clouds roll in quickly, and a sudden tropical downpour crashes down without warning. Without hesitation, the girl, along with the tiger cub and the baby bird, quickly leaves the stream and heads back toward the shelter. While crossing the grassy field made slippery by the heavy rain, she loses her footing and falls. The crab escapes from her hands and disappears into the rain-soaked ground.
When she finally reaches the shelter, the girl takes cover inside the unfinished thatched-roof house. Although the house is not yet complete, it is sturdy enough to shield her and the animals from the pouring rain. In the forest, rain arrives suddenly—but it also leaves just as quickly. After a few hours, the storm fades away, and sunlight breaks through the wet canopy once again.
As calm returns, the girl resumes the work she had left unfinished. She continues plastering mud onto the walls to complete the house, then builds a small earthen stove behind it. Not stopping there, she also crafts a simple yet beautiful bamboo bed. With patience and skill, she quickly finishes the essential furnishings, gradually turning the forest shelter into a warm and livable home.
