Lawmakers Review Tools to Prevent Federal Fraud

House Republicans are increasing scrutiny of massive alleged fraud in Minnesota’s social services system, and are pressing for systemic reforms.

At a hearing on Tuesday, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said the fraud had led to more than $9 billion being stolen from American taxpayers.
