DHS Says NYC Council Staffer Arrested, Has Criminal Record

ICE detained a data analyst working for the New York City Council on Jan. 13, when he appeared for a scheduled court check-in at a Long Island immigration facility.

The Department of Homeland Security says the staffer is in the U.S. illegally and has a criminal record, including an arrest for assault.
