Underway we go then with Cuba on the left-hand side in the red shirt serving against Germany in the black shirts with the red sleeves on the right-hand side. First touch for Tiller goes to his opposite. That ball squeezed inside the block. A little roll shot coming in. Tiller goes, draws the middle in. Third attack coming in for Germany. A little bit short on the set here. First swing coming in for Masso and he rips it through the fingers. Certainly five-year-old Cesar Gomez on the serve. Big chase coming in here. It's going to be pulled back. Marlon Yant gets a free swing at it. Puts it away. Switch one, taking the short and that's put away beautifully. Lovely swing by Heriafield. Passed around the 26-year-old. Now over in Gdansk for his club volleyball. Lovely angle. Tight by Gutierrez. Rawls wants it. It goes across to Torrey. Tip off the block. Tries to draw the block again. Persepcion just sees the block go early. Paitos coming in from Yant. Just finds his rhythm. Oh that's huge. Red the pipe. Attacks so well. It's all about patience in this monster block. Tempo for Yant. Lovely angle coming in here from Tobias Brand. A loaded swing right on the line. Trying to get Yant out of the game on the serve receive. And then Germany come up yet with yet another block. Good consistent server. Oh that's huge block. Gomez. Aggressive serve. And that's a nice position on the block. Short one. Yant coming in. Oh almost Enkampet style with an A quick. And then Philippe Yant says enough's enough. Just throws that ball back down. Germany take the first set. 25-19. Marlon Yant down the line. It's one more central. Drifting across to one position. And Garcia just watches that ball. This time a flatter float serve. Nice time to adjust where he is. Well. Yant on the short reverse. Brand now has to go cross court. Almost losing that as he turns away to the score table. Tiller runs the middle. Short taken there by Garcia and put away through the middle. Down the line onto Gutierrez. He gets it back. Lines up. Oh that's huge hands. A massive block coming in for Cuba. Big high toss from the Gutierrez. Oh quick thinking coming in there from Gomez. Smiles for the German fans then. As they find themselves here in Belgrade. Watch their team leading by one set. But down by two points here. Another big swing through the middle for Cuba. On the pipe. Petsak coming in. Yeah back on the ball. 15-16 forcing the overpass. Tiller is back court there. Nothing he can do about that one. Good things. On the head for Tiller. Oh that's a huge block. Absolute monster of a block. Concepcion with a stare down. The iso block. Matisse-Cruz likely to be the happier of the two. Nice pick up from Jant. Chance to close the set out. And Maso does that. 25-18. As opposite. One change coming in for Germany. Let me ask you. Wanting Germany to have a swing. Be aggressive in the way they play. That's a lovely little touch coming in. On the court right now. Overpass. And that's the aggression being put on from the service line from Concepcion. Maso off the hands. Graven was there. Jant wants the pipe. Gutierrez. Oh showboating and big airtime as well. From Brand on the defense. Nice take of the power from Jant. Attack. Brand now to use the hands. He does. It was always premeditated there by Gutierrez. He got it a bit early, hadn't he? Had to adjust and round it. Great dig by Germany. Those aggressive ones. That was aggressive. But it hits the tape and loses all the power. Gutierrez. Well look how hard and high the hands are. Right over the net. For Germany then. 18-18. Maso on the left side. Three-man block. Comes off the leg of the Cuban opposite. Give him enough time to set up a block. With the freedom on the swing. And this time Torre. The 30-year-old opposite comes up. So server off. Sorry setter off. Quick serve coming from Maso. Oh that's why he's there. He's been brought in to shut out that block instead of Gomez. And he comes on the first thing he does. Maso ball comes back again. Bissett does his job at the net. It's not needed. 23-21. Oh it's kept alive. Good skills with the foot. Back-to-back foot saves. And now the left hand. Puts it away for Germany. Well, a bit of technical skills from both sides. Oh that is such a fun play to watch on both sides. Getting those feet involved with the coverage. That's the definition of staying in the play. Maso on the bench. Cuba. Big freedom on the swing on the serve. Collision underneath the net there. Oh Concepcion puts it away. As the Cubans run up to court to celebrate. This morning they are playing like they have fresh legs, fresh minds. Getting those triple blocks. And the way we go with Germany serving here. This is set four. Cuba leading by two sets to one. Good up. Garcia. Jant. Just dropping that ball on Jant. Power tip but recycling for Germany. That's a huge block. Oh look at the celebration. Makes amends straight away. Look at that. 15th club of his career. Very experienced setter. Looking for a bit of stability here for Germany. Jant one-footed take off. Oh beautiful. You don't see slides very often in men's volleyball. Just because of how they run their offense. Three front court options. Balls in the air so he can move around. No rotation error there. Concepcion almost. Well the first time he's really been picked out on that blind swing across his body. Another team though. Cuba leading by four. Flatter faster set coming in for Tim Peter. Cross court again. The angle that Germany are picking up. Concepcion with the serve. Top spin serve with freedom. That's a great serve coming in. Germany chasing this one. Gutierrez almost in the way. Great pickup coming in. Gives a little bit of breathing space coming to the back end of the set. One-handed take from Jant. He wants it back. Zimmerman has options. He's gone reverse. Zimmerman now has three front court options as the backcourt setter for Germany. If they can defend well, they can. All options available. Game completely stopping there. Whether you get the challenge or not. Didn't look like there was a touch whatsoever. Your team's still getting a breather. Lilliana out on the left side. Germany running outside outs to get themselves back in to this fourth set. Need to make something happen now. That's the man to go to to make it happen as well. 2021 for the match. For their second win here in the 2021 VNL. To start their week off. And it's an ace serve in the corner. Cuba take it. Sensational serve to end the game. And cue the celebrations.
