Deep Winter Hike in the White Mountains

Single digit temps and plenty of snow highlighted this hike along the Carter-Moriah Range. I began at the Nineteen Mile Brook Trail and hiked up the crunchy path to the Carter Dome Trail. I took this to the summit of Carter Dome and then backtracked to Zeta Pass. From there I continued along the ridge over South and Middle Carter. Then it was another five miles down to the car. This brought me three peaks closer to finishing my Winter 48. Four peaks to go!
