What's up my YouTube family and new viewers? In today's video, I'll be checking out the Rio Palace in Rivera Maya in Player Del Carmen. I'll be giving you a re look at what it's like to stay here from the resort itself to the overall vibe so you can decide if it's worth it. This is where you'll get dropped off when you arrive, right at the front entrance. Pretty straightforward. Nothing fancy here, just where everything starts. As soon as you walk into the lobby, you can tell this is a Rio palace. [music] The Palace resorts are different from the regular Rio hotels. They lean more into that older [music] classic palace style. High ceilings, polished floors, traditional details, and a more formal layout. It reminds me of an old wealthy estate, not modern or trendy, but established. This is the junior [music] suite. The layout varies by booking and this room includes two double beds or a king bed. There's a separate couch area. Each room has a balcony. Easy spot for coffee in the morning or a drink at night. Mini bar is included and restocked. Standard all-inclusive setup. Bathroes are in the closet, which is a nice extra. Bathroom is spacious with double sinks and a tub. Functional and easy to use. No complaints there. The property itself is spread out with wide walkways, lots of palm trees, and garden areas between the buildings. The white buildings are connected in a way that makes it feel like a small resort village. It's more traditional than modern. >> Oh, I think this is a really, really fresh place. We are so near from Play Carmen and of the beach of course. So you have different activities to do here in Playel Carman. Nightclub, dinner, and of course this beach and this excellent. >> It's like a party city. >> Yeah, it's a party city of course. Yes. >> Yeah. Yeah. This this hotel is beautiful. Yeah, I like it over here. >> Yeah, we have some greens area, the pool. >> Oh, you have room service here. Oh, nice, nice, nice. >> It's perfect service here. >> Okay, awesome. Nice meeting you, my friend. Respect. The food was honestly good. This is still an all-inclusive, but the buffet had solid varieties and the alocart restaurants were consistent. It's not fine dining. But I was happy with the meals and didn't feel bored eating here. >> Can you make me a taco? >> Taco. >> Yeah. >> Chicken be. >> Make me a Make me a special. >> Make me a special. I eat everything. >> Make me a special. You're special, sir. Chef special. >> Chicken. >> Chicken. >> Beef. >> Pork alo. >> Just make me something nice. >> Make me something nice. >> You don't understand. >> Just a quick heads up. Not everyone here speaks fluent English. Both staff and the guests. It wasn't a big issue. Just something to be aware of. Compared to the regular rear resorts next door, the palace feels more polished, especially in the lobby and rooms. That said, entertainment and facilities aren't massively different. The nice thing is being able to visit the other real properties nearby, which gives more options. All right. So, we at the Rio Palace Rivera trying their food. It looks so good. >> Looks delicious. >> Delicious. The rib. My god, this food is amazing. I really like their barbecue ribs. This shrimp side, but the ribs is amazing. I like this rice. The food is amazing. >> I like this hotel. This is the kids club, real land. The pools are one of the better parts of the resort. Big main pool with a swim up bar, plenty of seating, and shaded areas under the palm trees. There's also a separate pool for kids. It can get really busy here, but there's usually spots. Beautiful Rio Palace Rivera Maya. Yeah. So, so beautiful. Day. This is where the nightly shows and live music happen. If you're into resort entertainment, there's usually something going on after dinner. This is the beach. Depending on the season, seaweed can show up. It can be calm. It can be rough.
