Icelandic national costume, or Þjóðbúningurinn, has a rich tradition and history that dates back hundreds of years, and in this documentary, I interview Hildur at Annríki. She's a tailor and dressmaker of this culturally significant attire and is immensely knowledgeable about its history and evolution over the course of the past 300 years.

Not only does Annríki make Icelandic national costume for others to wear, they also hold workshops and courses to teach others how to make the garments, helping to preserve its tradition.
