Why we will never reach our next STAR!
Proxima Centauri, at 4.24 light-years away, is our nearest stellar neighbor—yet unreachable for humanity. In this video, we explore why even the smallest interstellar distance represents an insurmountable barrier.
We examine the immense dimensions: 40 trillion kilometers, which would mean tens of thousands of years of travel time even with our fastest probes. Conventional rocket engines fail the rocket equation, ion thrusters are too weak, and even nuclear propulsion concepts would take centuries.
Add to this are fundamental physical limitations: the speed of light as an absolute barrier. The gap between theoretical possibility and practical implementation is simply too vast.
Proxima Centauri shows us the limits of our reach and reminds us of our place in the universe. The nearest star remains distant—at least for the foreseeable future.
