Amid the majestic mountains of Northwest Vietnam, Sapa appears like a misty painting,
where nature harmonizes with unique local cultures. From terraced rice fields and layered
mountain ranges to its cool climate all year round, Sapa has a way of captivating visitors
from the very first moment they arrive. In this video, we would like to introduce to you
our journey exploring Sapa for three days and two nights, starting from Ho Chi Minh City.
You can book your flight tickets through trip.com or other travel agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.
Please note that it takes about 30 minutes to travel from the city center to the airport,
and it may take longer during peak hours due to traffic congestion.
The flight time from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi is about two hours. After arriving at Noi Bai
International Airport, you can take a sleeper bus directly to Sapa City. It is recommended
to book the bus tickets in advance via trip.com. The travel time from Noi Bai Airport to Sapa
takes approximately six hours. This is a spacious and comfortable sleeper bus, allowing you to lie
down and take a rest. After about five hours, the bus will take you to Sapa City. During the journey,
there will be one or two rest stops for breaks. If you depart from Ho Chi Minh City around 6 to 7 pm,
you will arrive in Sapa at around 6 to 7 am the next morning. After that, you can go to
your hotel to store your luggage. Please note that you should book your hotel in advance
through platforms such as trip.com, Agoda, or booking.com to get the best room rates.
After leaving your luggage, you will head to the cable car station to go up to Phan Tse Pan Peak.
You should choose a cable car combo ticket that includes the Mun Hoa Mountain Train,
the Phan Tse Pan Cable Car, the Do Quyen Funicular, and a buffet lunch featuring a
wide variety of local dishes. The price for this round-trip combo ticket is around 1,200,000 VND.
Tickets can be booked directly at your hotel or purchased at the Sun World Cable Car Station.
At the cable car station, you can enjoy drinks such as Starbucks coffee, Highland coffee,
or shop for souvenirs displayed along both sides of the walkway leading to the cable car station.
At Mun Hoa Station, the Sapa Mountain Train, you don't have to wait long as the trains
operate continuously on a full-then-depart basis with a very high frequency.
Typically, there is one train every 5-10 minutes depending on the number of visitors.
This helps reduce waiting time and saves about 30-60 minutes compared to waiting for the cable
car. The travel time to the Phan Tse Pan Cable Car Station is only about 6-8 minutes.
In summary, you won't have to wait long at Mun Hoa Mountain Train Station
as you can board the train almost immediately to begin your journey to explore Phan Tse Pan.
