Climbing Bell Rock - Sedona, Arizona

This was your idea. It was my idea. Sometimes I have good ideas. I'm not sure this is one of them but I swear I do. It doesn't look that bad. It's fine. All right we're in Sedona and we're gonna climb Bell Rock. Right there. Let's go. Get a nice view. Right up there. Yeah come check this out. This will definitely get us to the top of that where those other people are. That looks sketchy as hell man. Can you get down? Past the hard part. Well Troy went the sketchy way. I'm going the touristy way. Right up this. All right we're geared up. Getting ready for the climbing part. Looks intimidating. Some guy just ran up there in his tennis shoes too. Just to make me feel worse. All right Santa good luck. I thought I was supposed to go down the chimney. What are we doing here? Oh my god. The dad jokes are strong with that one. If it wasn't for dad jokes it wouldn't have any jokes at all. All right one's ready to go. There we go. Yeah I like that this wasn't even a pitch. This was part of the approach but you made me feel like it was part of the climb. So just figured it'd be safer if we roped up real quick. The approach should not freak you out on the way to a climb or it's a really bad sign. Now we're gonna start climbing. How are you feeling about your decisions right now? Not horrible. I'm gonna belay you up to here before moving on. That looks sketchy as hell. Glad I'm not qualified to lead that. Definitely keep me tight here. Oh hell. I didn't see that one. There you go. Nice. Yeah dude. Sweet. Well done. Nice. Yeah. And there's another bolt to the right. That handhold is great man. Yeah that's the only thing that makes it work. All right let's get the rope situated. Is that the last bit? Yeah dude. It is chilly man. You're not wrong. We'll get up get some footage some views and get back to the jackets. Yes. Take me off belay. Oh it's nice to not be in the wind. Yeah. Oh god. Normally I would have been scared of that but I was just so happy to get out of the wind I don't care. Oh this move I'm not a fan. Once you stand up there and get your feet up on that bulge it feels much much better. Yeah get your hand in there. I feel better now. Yeah. All right I'm cheating but oh well.
