In this video, I spend a day in 1882 and demonstrate the many outfit changes a lady of the Victorian era would go through. I show all the layers involved in each look, from a simple nightgown to a formal evening gown worn for dinner.

During the Victorian period, women wore different outfits for nearly every activity of the day, with clear distinctions between daytime wear and eveningwear, each with varying levels of formality. Women of the upper classes, in particular, could spend a significant portion of their day changing clothes.

In this video, I wear:
- A nightgown
- A breakfast ensemble
- A house dress (teagown)
- A day dress
- An evening gown
