NYE Sunrise Hike with INSANE Cloud Inversion: Reflecting on 2025

On New Year’s Eve morning, we hiked up Camlough Mountain before sunrise in minus three degrees (Noodle was not impressed 🥶). With tea in hand and Madge trailing behind, we chased the light, reflected on a big year — and got surprised by one of the most insane cloud inversions we’ve ever seen.

This isn’t our usual classroom content, but after 14 straight weeks of uploads, this felt like a chance to slow down and connect. Half way through our hike, I share some thoughts on project-based learning, moving back to Ireland, and what’s coming next for the channel in 2026.
