SpaceX Just Rolled Out The New Starship V3 Booster 19 for Testing! What Happens Next…
Time to come back.
After a record breaking period of preparation, the hardware for Flight 12, which will be the first V3 flight, now appears ready for deployment.
What will SpaceX take on as its next step?
At the same time, operations at Starbase continue to deliver a steady stream of notable and compelling developments.
Elsewhere, China has reached a major milestone this year in terms of total launch count.
Meanwhile, SpaceX is now likely to conclude the year at 165 flights, following a delay affecting its final planned mission.
Let us dive into all of this on today’s episode of Great SpaceX.

We are now counting down the final days of the year.
Just over a month ago, SpaceX appeared to be in a state of disruption following the unexpected B18 explosion. Despite that setback, operations have recovered at an impressive pace, and conditions at Starbase now appear to be fully back on track.
In a previous update, a road closure schedule was announced, running from 11:59 p.m. on December 29th to 4:00 a.m. on December 30th. This timing clearly indicates a planned move from the Production Site to Massey.
Based on the schedule, only B19 and S39 match the requirements for such a rollout. Many initially believed this closure was intended for COPV transport. However, on site observations at Starbase show that the COPV cages had already moved earlier in the afternoon on December 29th. In addition, no test tanks were observed moving during this period.

We also know that the B19 booster stack is complete, supported by striking images from inside Mega Bay 1. After nearly a week of preparation, which was likely needed to install the new COPV system, B19 now appears ready to roll. Meanwhile, Ship 39 has been completed for quite some time.
As a result, it is increasingly likely that Flight 12 hardware is about to move, with B19 being the most probable candidate. At the time this video was recorded, there were no visible signs of movement. However, by the time you are watching this, that rollout may have already taken place.
This raises an important question. Why might B19 roll out before S39, even though S39 completed stacking earlier?
