Well, Steve Kazikoff, actually, would you please come out?
You look great, as always.
Oh, my God.
Oh, it's such an honor to meet you.
Oh, no, the honor is all mine.
Trust me. And and here come.
Please have a seat, Steve.
Or excuse me, Kaz, if I may.
Sure. Speaking of when you're younger.
I think we have a few photos, actually, that you brought that if you.
Oh, my God. First of all.
Was this the 1930s?
Well, that was me on the bread line.
You do. You look like a member of our gang
grown up a little bit with a severe middle part.
You look. Oh, my God.
Oh, no, I love this.
What is this? Oh, Oklahoma.
So so God bless Steve Kazikoff.
He he cast me as Curly in Oklahoma.
And I am not a singer.
And Curly sings a lot in Oklahoma.
And he has me into his room when he tells me.
Remember, you told me that I had the role and you said, Tom,
I am trusting you to do a lot of work on this.
Yes, sir. And you did.
I tried my best.
I thought you were wonderful. Really?
I think we have two more pictures.
OK, what's this moment, Steve?
Again, you're this is all looking like early 1900s.
This was when he started.
We were rehearsing how to succeed in business without really trying.
A.J. Hunsaker, you were.
That was the Lancaster.
I was pierced, pierced, pierced, pierced, pierced, pierced.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then here's the last one again, a hundred years ago.
What are you doing here in this beautiful pre-war moment?
That's guys and dolls.
He's doing. Oh, yeah.
He's he's dancing there and singing.
Rolling those dice, baby.
This is when they finally figured it out.
It was my senior year and they did a play where I could act
and I didn't have to sing.
So I played Nathan and all Nathan has to do is sue me.
Sue me. What can you do me?
I love you. You know, you can kind of talk your way through it.
And you know what? You can talk, sing like it.
It helps a lot. Yeah.
And there's nothing you can't do if you don't practice. Right.
And that's a testament.
You said I couldn't sing and dance.
And there you are singing and dancing.
And here you are on the verge of, you know, as a you know,
as we come to our final questions.
I mean, what do you think when you see him in task
and everybody's talking Emmy and like, holy cow, best show of the year?
What may I ask? Does that make you feel?
Oh, my gosh. I just burst with pride, you know, to think that I had
even a small amount of influence on such a person.
And not only has Tom grown into such.
And I mean, there's such a really great actor.
But Tom is one of the greatest human beings I know in this life.
He really is.
He is a guy who gives more than he takes everywhere he goes.
He he would give the shirt off his back in this nice jacket to any of these people.
If he gives that jacket, I want it. You can have it.
OK, good. This is so special.
This is I will remember this for the rest of my life.
Oh, well, thank you so much.
I will, too.
Work out there that we all remember and want to celebrate.
So if you haven't seen the best show of the year,
go to HBO and task is on there now.
And we'll be right back. Thank you so much.
