1 Video View·Dec 24, 2025
Simplify your real estate social media in 2025 and create a strategy that’s effective, manageable, and authentic! In this video, I’ll show you how to transform your real estate business through simplified social media strategies that save time, connect with clients, and generate more real estate leads.
If you are a real estate agent who is really struggling to keep up with their social media plan,
or if you just flat out hate it, then you're not alone.
And yeah, you're probably overthinking it.
So I'm going to help walk you through a few things that you need to know to have
a rock solid social media strategy for 2025 for your real estate business.
In this video, I am going to show you exactly how to simplify
your content strategy by documenting your day to day,
sharing where your audience actually wants to see,
and using one simple content hack to make the whole process effortless.
Let's get into it.
And hey, if we haven't met yet, I'm Stephanie Lugo.
I'm a real estate agent and a coach helping agents like you
grow their businesses while keeping their sanity intact.
If creating content has ever felt like a chore, then stick with me in this video.
You can have everything you need to make it feel even more accessible this year.
OK, so let's face it going into next year and thank God for this.
The days of polished, curated, perfect content are over.
What people want now is real, raw, actual,
relatable content that feels good to watch and is easy for us to produce.
This is a win for us, you guys.
That boring open house that you're prepping that is fascinating to someone else to see
that little cafe that you grab coffee at every morning.
That is part of your story.
The key to great content in 2025 is to just document what you're already doing.
And I recently shared this with another real estate agent,
and they said, I just don't see a stuff like I don't understand
why someone cares about what's happening in my life.
I feel like I just need to be posting more like real estate content.
Well, it's all part of it, though, right?
And a real estate transaction is not a sterile environment for a person to be in.
It's actually a very intimate environment when
a client is working with their real estate agents.
And if you didn't know, getting pre-qualified for a mortgage loan
is the second most stressful thing a person can do in their life behind only,
you guessed it, the death of a family member or loved one.
This is not just like a little thing that's happening to our clients.
And so they want to work with somebody who they know shares their values,
shares their interests, and really is in their corner.
And the best way that we can share that with them
is not even so much through words or video.
It's through actions.
It's the showcasing the actions that we take on a day to day
that make our clients feel, oh, they're just like me.
They're just another person who just happens to be really good
at this one thing called real estate.
So let's talk about number one.
What are you going to post about in 2025?
It's going to be a little bit of everything and anything.
Seriously.
If you are at a closing, show the setup.
If you're heading to an inspection, share about what you're looking for.
This is actually one of the things that our clients love the most
is how we're pointing out any defects that we're noticing.
Not anything that's outside of our scope of expertise, of course,
but saying, you know, we're noticing this and that.
And these are the people who are going to tell us more about that
during the inspection, right?
Those little pieces of information and insight are hugely valuable
and very interesting to people who are just watching on the outside,
looking in, hey, really quickly, it's 2025.
And we are doing things differently this year.
No more flying by the seat of your pants
or feeling overwhelmed by all the moving parts in your business.
Whether you have been in real estate for four months or 25 years,
I know that you're ready for a change.
At the Market Authority Academy, we help agents just like you,
agents who feel stuck juggling client follow-ups,
leads and marketing without clear systems in place.
Whether it's organizing your processes, creating a plan for consistent lead flow
or finally getting control of your time,
we have got you covered, my friend.
This is your year to turn your hard work
into a business that allows you to stay organized,

Let's make 2025 the year your business works for you.
People don't want perfection in 2025.
I can't stress that enough.
They want you.
They want to see how you navigate through a tough transaction.
They want to see how you prepare to give an amazing client experience.
They want to see that inside look.
You really want to think of this as bringing your followers along for the ride.
So the best way to kind of encapsulate this tip
is Gary Vee's advice, documents versus create.
Don't worry about creating perfectly curated content.
Really focus on documenting what's happening in your day-to-day.
Okay, so you might think, all right, well, that sounds good.
But how am I going to make this manageable in 2025?
Well, here's what you're going to do.
This is, again, the beauty of documenting
because it's a lot more manageable to just take a moment
and film or make a quick story of what you're doing
in your real estate day-to-day
rather than set aside hours of time to post curated content, right?
Instead of planning elaborate posts for things like Instagram,
take short videos and photos of what you're already doing in the day-to-day.
By the end of the week, you are going to have a library of content ready to go.
What I do is I look at my week ahead when I'm planning the week
and I take note of anything that might be happening,
like an appraisal happening or an inspection happening or a closing happening.
And I kind of write that out on my daily planner
and have that as a note for a talking point
to make sure I'm documenting what's happening.
So here's an example.
This morning, I was getting ready to come in for filming
and I was doing my makeup, doing the whole thing.
And at the time this morning,
I was getting communication in on a closing that was delayed.
Not our fault.
And what I wanted to do was share a little bit
of what was happening on the listing side
to cause this to be a delayed transaction, to delay the closing.
So I went on to the stories and as I was getting ready,
I just kind of like spoke into the camera,
sharing a little bit of a tip on how other sellers
can make sure that their home does not delay the closing
by avoiding silly mistakes that we're not going to point out
in this environment as much as I would like to.
You're going to have to follow me on Bryce and Stephanie
to get all the behind the scenes information.
But again, knowing that I had these closings happening midweek,
I already knew what I was going to be talking about on social media.
And so I just share those in a really casual story on Instagram.
Stories are beautiful on Instagram because they expire after 24 hours.
So if it turned out really bad or it flopped,
I can always just start again tomorrow.
But if it pops off and if I get some DMs,
direct messages or questions about the situation,
then I might just go ahead and make that a post tomorrow.
Maybe I'll include a really meaty caption
to describe the situation and that valuable tip
in the caption of a post tomorrow.
So then I'm doubling down on the content
that I'm already creating just through documentation.
Do you follow?
Let me know in the comments if that makes sense.
I hope this is making you rethink a little bit
of how simple a social media strategy can really be.
Now, how are we going to make that even more effective?
That's number three.
How are we going to make this really effective in 2025?
Well, the secret sauce is knowing your audience.
So social media is the most impactful for real estate agents
when they're focusing on people who they already know.
So if you already and I talk about this on this channel,
but if you have not already followed all of your past clients
and friends and family and everyone,
you know, in your entire life on the social media platforms
you're trying to grow on, you need to be doing that.
You need to have one Instagram account,
only one because any more is too overwhelming.
And you need to speak to everybody in your entire life
who's on social media from that account.
And then take it a step further,
pop on the stories and ask people what they want to see.
And I'm just going to like,
let you know that I recently did this this week.
I'm having a lot of challenges with social media,
we could say, and I share this on my stories.
And I think after years and years
of growing my real estate business on social media,
I think I'm starting to hate it.
I'm in that camp where I'm feeling a lot of pressure.
I'm starting to hate it,
which is why I'm thinking about these things.
As you can see, my YouTube strategy
is also a little bit of document versus create, right?
I'm documenting how I'm making social media
more impactful for me in 2025.
And so I did this process and I went on to Instagram
and I went on to my stories and I said,
guys, I'm struggling, like I'm feeling a little burnt out.
I don't know what to share.
I don't want to add to the noise.
I don't want to add something that's not valuable.
What are you enjoying on social media right now?
What are you liking to see?
And this is what I got.
I got a bunch of responses from
a whole bunch of different kinds of people.
These are past clients, real estate agents, friends,
people I know in my community who responded
with the stuff that they are enjoying
seeing on social media.
And that gave me a whole bunch of ideas,
number one, on what I could be posting.
But that also gave me creative license
to not only have to talk about
real estate stuff all the time,
because honestly, I don't want to talk
about real estate stuff all the time.
And my seasoned agents, I know that you get this.
There's only so much that you can talk
about a transaction time and time again,
year over year again, right?
And so I'm wanting to mix it up a little bit.
And people are willing to hear
what you have going on outside of just real estate.
And before you think, well, then what's the point?
Because if you're not talking about real estate,
you're not lead generating.
That's not true.
That's just not true.
You're maintaining a relationship
and you're staying top of mind
by providing value to your clients
in the form of sharing something interesting,
sharing something distracting,
sharing something fun or motivating or pretty.
All right?
So documenting is going to be really, really effective,
especially when you make sure
to curate that documentation
based off of what your audience wants to see.
So when I was looking at all of this feedback
from my clients and friends,
what I'm hearing is they want to see
more relatable day-to-day stuff.
I'm really good at being relatable and authentic
when I feel like I have permission.
So now I have the permission to kind of get back
to some of my more like grassroots style of posting
that I was doing a couple of years ago.
I'm going to try that out,
see if I like it and see if I can stick to it.
Okay, that's what I have for you today.
And that's what you're going to do.
You're going to make sure, number one,
that you're going to post about
anything going on in your life.
You're not going to think too hard
about curating perfect content.
And then you are going to make it really manageable
by focusing on documenting versus create.
And finally, you're going to make it super effective
by tailoring it for your audience
by asking your audience what they are into
and what they want to see.
Okay, now, if you don't have a huge audience on Instagram
or like anybody following you or engaging you,
ask some trusted people in your life.
Don't overcomplicate this.
Don't create barriers for yourself that don't exist.
I do have a really good way
that I can include a chat2BT hack
to make this even a little bit easier.
And streamline this process.
If you're interested in that,
if I should make a video on that coming up,
let me know in the comments.
Just say yes to the chat2BT hack.
That way I know to create it.
And if so, do me a solid.
Like this video, subscribe to this channel.
Those are things that specifically tell me
that this is the kind of content
that you want more of on this channel.
So by doing that,
that's going to be a really good signal for me
to know that you want that follow-up chat2BT hack
for real estate on social media.
Okay, cool.
I hope that you found this very, very helpful.
And hey, if you're still feeling overwhelmed
with social media,
or if you are finding
that this is just not going to get you
to where you want to be,
you need more of a comprehensive strategy,
then I want you to know
it doesn't have to be that way.
Inside the Market Authority Academy,
we teach you how to build
a high converting content strategy
that works for your business
and does not take up all of your time.
To start, you can book a free strategy session with me.
