The BEST Tech of 2025!

Okay, so we saw a lot of tech in 2025, but here's the best. And one of the most mind-blowing we're gonna talk about today is this guy, the new Meta Ray-Ban displays. And I gotta say, Meta went absolutely crazy with these. So what we're looking at with these glasses is everything Google Glass was supposed to be. So right here on this right lens, there's actually a display where you can see a menu and actually some apps right from the glasses. So you can still see the real world and you can see everyone in front of you, but you've got this overlay with menu options for all kinds of stuff. And all of that is controllable from the neural band. So basically this Meta Neural Band controls everything. So it uses EMG sensors and basically it can detect gestures, like small gestures that you do, and it translates those signals into commands for the glasses. So if I wanted to swipe around, what I do is I close my fist, use my thumb on my index finger, and I'm swiping left, right, up, down. If I wanna change the volume, I just hold down my fingers by pinching them together and then turning a knob that increases or decreases the volume. This band is almost as impressive as the glasses themselves. Even the case is really wild. Obviously the case will hold the glasses and charge them, but when you're not using the case, you can even just fold it down flat and just tuck them into your pocket. Everything they did with these glasses is insane. I'll of course have a full-blown video so that you guys can learn all the different things that this can do. And these still have some of the features that we've seen on other Meta glasses. So we've got the cameras built into it where you can take pictures and do videos. And now with the display, you even can pull up a viewfinder so you know exactly what you're taking a video or picture of. You get the exact framing, no more guesswork. You also have built-in speakers and microphone so you can take calls and answer them with no problem, listen to music. It does all of those things still. But I think one of my favorite things is the live captions. Being able to turn on live captions is like having subtitles for anyone in the real world. So I can just speak to Gene, have a conversation with him, and I can see the exact words that he's saying on my glasses. And it also works with translations. So if Gene is speaking some French, I wanna translate it to English. All right, Gene, relax, bro. Showing off. It's not even on yet. But we could really do that. Oscar, say something in Spanish. Yeah, yeah. So it can translate in real time. Absolutely insane. That's the thing too, though. Like being able to watch content and have it get translated in real time. You can even have the glasses describe what you're seeing in real time if you don't know what something is. It can take a picture of it, examine it, tell you what it is. Like, Meta, it had to go this hard. One of the best things to come out of 2025, easily. Is your favorite thing of 2025? I believe that. It's that good. And since we're talking about cameras, we gotta touch on the Insta360 Go Ultra. Now, we all know Insta360 comes out with all kinds of crazy cameras. This one in particular is really great for content creation. So it's got this GoPro action camera style to it, but the camera itself is actually inside of a case, and you can pop it right out. Now, what's really cool about this is it gives you access to a ton of different perspectives. Now, the back of it is magnetic, and included in the box are a couple of accessories that help you get some really great POV shots. And one of those is this magnetic lanyard, so you can just throw this around your neck, probably like tuck it inside of your shirt, and once you've got it hooked up like this, you can get an awesome POV shot hands-free. It actually looks really cool to capture content like this, because the viewer kinda gets a feeling of what it's like to do whatever you're doing in that moment. So we'll throw in some of the shots that Oscar got, but this thing gives you a ton of flexibility to capture content, kind of like the Meta Ray Bans, but it's from a different angle, and you can actually have multiple angles. So one of those accessories is this magnetic clip, and you can, of course, clip this onto your shirt, but what's a really good shot is putting this on the brim of a hat. I actually got a really cool shot with Austin, who was building this really tough Lego, and I was just so impressed. I was like, I gotta capture this. I threw a hat on him, and then I also added this to it, and we were able to just see his hands going to work as he built the Lego. It's just absolutely amazing to get that first-person point of view, so you can really feel like you're in it with whoever's shooting the content. Now, obviously, you can get all kinds of cool shots with the camera and the accessories, but what's nice is that you can actually use the dock to see what exactly you're capturing. So while you've got this on something, you can just look at the body itself and make sure it's getting the angle that you want, so it's an awesome combo, and honestly, just really great for creators, and the camera quality is decent. I'm not going to say it's like the cameras we're using here, but it is more than good enough to use in any kind of content you make. B actually bought this, and I was so impressed that I was like, I gotta get one myself, and I picked one up, so that goes to show you just how good this is. Now, next up, we've gotta talk about the Samsung Z Fold 7. I gotta come out and say it. I think this is one of the most impressive phones of the year. Why? Because Samsung did what we all wanted to happen with foldables, and that's make it the size of a normal phone. They achieved something crazy with this, because it is insanely thin when it's open, and when you close it, honestly, it just feels like you're holding an iPhone, and I think this is so good. I feel like this is going to be the new bar for foldable phones. Like, if you are not as thin as this when closed, go back to the drawing board. This is what the people want. They don't want the foldable to feel like this big, bulky device. They want it to feel like a normal phone when it's closed, and when it's open, that's just a bonus screen. Like, this is just a little extra flavor that you don't normally get. Once it's the standard that foldable phones are this thin, I think we're going to see a lot more of them in the real world, and I think it's gonna go beyond just the crazy enthusiast. So Samsung, I feel like they absolutely nailed it in 2025 with this one. Could be a little bit wider, maybe just a smidge. It's still a little narrower than you would see with other smartphones. So one Samsung, just a little bit, I think we're there. I also love the fact that they put a way better camera system in this one, so it feels like you're compromising a lot less, especially when you're paying that big price that foldables usually ask for. So big kudos to Samsung, because this phone genuinely made me feel like it could be my primary phone, and I haven't felt that way about foldables before, so good job. And you know who else did a good job? Apple. This is the Apple Watch SE3, and I think this is one of the best value devices that Apple offers right now. So why is the SE3 so special? Well, it's 250 bucks, which is a really great deal for an Apple Watch, but what's nice here is that they finally added some of the more important features that the Apple Watch offers onto this model. First and foremost, this thing has the new S10 chip, which is the same chip that the new Apple Watch Series 11 and even the Ultra 3 have, so it's just as smooth as some of the way more expensive options. So it's got the same amount of power, but it also has other features that you see on the more premium models, like the always-on display. It also has the wrist temperature sensor, sleep tracking, so it can tell you your sleep score, as well as let you know if you potentially have sleep apnea, and it also now has 18 hours of battery life. Essentially, this feels just like something like the Series 11, just with a different design, and a few less features, but all of the important ones and the performance, they're right here. And you get all of that for 250 bucks, and that is just such a good deal. Just a nice smartwatch in the $250 range alone is a good deal, but with this, you're getting the Apple Watch, with all the Apple Watch things at a really great price point. This is great for my parents, who aren't really tech-savvy, but I want them to have access to some of the more important features. They absolutely get that, so they don't need the more premium stuff, but this has everything that they should have. Not to mention, it's also great for kids, if you don't wanna get them a smartphone just yet, but you want a way to be able to get in touch with them, maybe track their location, you can get all of those features right here, they can call you, and you don't have to spend a lot of money or buy them a smartphone for them to be able to get in touch with you. This is just such a good value in so many different ways that I honestly feel like this is one of the best-valued products that Apple has come out with this year. And more selfishly, I also gotta give it to Apple for coming out with the new AirPods Pro 3, my favorite AirPods to date, because Apple has completely changed the way these fit in the ears. So now, these AirPods are more curved, and for a guy like me who struggles with having earbuds in his ears, Apple has done what they were supposed to do and made it so much easier for anyone to be able to wear these and actually keep them in their ears, so now they're way more comfortable and they don't rely on sitting on this part of the ear in order for it to stay in place. But aside from the fit, they also included a heart rate sensor, which allows you to track your heart rate as you're doing things like workouts, especially if you're using Apple Fitness. And you also get things like live translation, so if you're having a conversation with someone who's speaking a different language, you can actually have it translate in real time right to your phone, so that you can now speak to someone who's speaking another language. They've also improved the noise cancellation on these, which wasn't necessary, but they did it. And they also upped the battery life by two hours without the case, so now you get to wear them for eight hours straight instead of the six that they used to be. So for me, those are some really great quality of life improvements, and these are easily my favorite earbuds to use when on the go. Just the fit alone is enough to make me really happy. A shout out to Apple for both this and this this year. Since we're talking about audio, we gotta talk about today's sponsor, Marshall. This right here is the Middleton 2, one of the best Bluetooth speakers that I've used in a long time. This is a really high quality speaker. If you can't tell by the overall design, the aesthetics, this thing looks premium, and it sounds absolutely amazing. Here's one thing that I absolutely love about these. You've got these awesome controls right here at the top. So you have your power button over here. You hear it immediately. You've got this LED bar that shows you just how much battery life you've got left. You can also see your volume, and what's also really cool is that you can control just how much bass you've got. As you can see, mine is cranked up to the max, and you can control your treble as well. You don't usually get these kind of controls built right into the speaker, but it's all here. So right here from this knob, you can play and pause your music by pressing it, but you can also just push it up to increase the volume, push it down, and even skip tracks by pushing it left and right. Absolutely amazing, but the best thing is that this thing is also super durable. It's got an IP67 rating, so that means you can get in water up to three feet for 30 minutes. So you can take this thing to the pool, not have any issues. If you take this thing on vacation and you have a work call or something, it even has a built-in microphone so you can take your call right from the speaker. What's also really dope is that it has 30 hours of battery life. So if you wanna take this thing on vacation to the beach or something, you can take it with you and play music all day. And even if your phone runs out of battery, you can use the USB-C port in the back to charge it up. So it's like a built-in portable charger as well. Extremely durable, amazing sound quality with dope controls at the top. This thing is easily one of the best speakers that I've used. I actually used this at my sister-in-law's wedding. I wish I had footage of that. But we used this at my sister-in-law's wedding where she was getting ready for the day. This is the speaker that she used to vibe out to before walking down the aisle. So this is actually a pretty special speaker to me, now that I think about it. But this is absolutely my go-to. I'll have links down below in the description so you guys can go ahead and check it out. But easily one of my favorite Bluetooth speakers of all time, especially for 2025. Now next up is something you probably weren't expecting, but it's my office chair. This is the LibreNovo Omni. And it is amazing. So this right here, you guys, is the chair that I use in my office. It is the best office chair that I've ever used, like ever. It has a ton of flexibility. A lot of support. It is extremely comfortable. I don't think I've used something that was this close in comfort. It has really nice padding and cushioning. And you can even adjust the arms to whatever position feels most comfortable for you. So ton of flexibility in that regard. You can change the lumbar support by pressing some buttons right here on the left armrest. So if I wanted to give myself, like let's say a little bit less support, and you guys can see the way this mechanism works over here, I can bring it back, and then I can bring it forward. Jeez, I had mine pretty far back then. So the lumbar support is controlled by a motor here, so that's really awesome. And you just get a lot of flexibility also in terms of how far back you can bring this. But here's the kicker. When you bring it back like this, do you see how it supports my back? So it supports that arch by not just letting you go all the way back, but it gives you support as you move back. So you guys can see it here as I'm going down, and it's not even like a drop. You know how office chairs, usually you just, you fall back and it's scary? Not over here. It's nice and gradual. I feel like they thought of it all, and I feel so supported. Now what's also really cool is this third button over here. Now this third button gives you a nice stretch as you're laying back, and maybe you're trying to take a few minutes to relax. If I want to do that, I'll lean back, press this button, and it's like this aerobic stretch where it just gets your back all the way up, then it brings it down. This is so relaxing. If you just need a moment during like your lunch break. I'm so jealous of your chair. Listen. Renovo, stop playing, do something more. Right, let's go. Everyone here has tried it, and I think everyone feels the same. This chair is just leagues better than some of the way more expensive chairs that we have inside of here. Sell some cameras. Listen to that, sell some cameras so we could get office chairs. That's insane to say, but that is just how good this thing is. This is one of the best things that I think we got out of 2025, that I got out of 2025. I'm working on it, guys, and I didn't even bring it down, but it also has this awesome footrest. Now, next up is something a little bit different, and it's like an amazing office gadget, and that's this Divoom Times Frame, and this is basically a digital picture frame. As you can see, I've got pictures of the family over here going. It also has access to other artwork that you can pick up from the app, but what's really cool is that this thing also works with the internet where it can give you real-time updates on certain things. Let me show you guys what I'm talking about. So you can actually go in and customize it to have these different pages. Let's go to these widgets. So you can have all kinds of different widgets loaded up. So if you're someone who likes to keep track of stocks, I don't know, they've got crypto over here. So you can have a ton of different information just showing right here, whether it's like your calendar, a to-do list. You can customize the heck out of this guy. It could actually just be nice as a visual piece, or it could be something that's really useful and give you access to information at a glance. It's also pretty customizable with RGB lights on the left side. And it's one of those things that's not necessary at all, but it's one of the coolest office gadgets that I've seen in a long time. I think it's really well done. And it actually just offers a lot more than you would think on first glance. So within the app, you have access to a gallery full of different pixel art, things that people make. There's like a huge community behind it, but you can, like I said, use it for more useful things. You can sync your calendar to it, use it as a timer, do all kinds of different stuff. You basically make it what you want it to be. And that kind of flexibility, you don't really see from a regular picture frame that you might have on your desk. Now, I know we just talked about the Meta Neural Band, but this is a band that I recently picked up that I've actually been really enjoying. So this is the Whoop 5.0. And basically, this band is like a health and fitness tracker. Your boy's getting a little bit older. And health matters to me a lot more than it used to. And this little band gives you a ton of information about your health and vitals. So within the app, you can see access to a ton of different information. Obviously, sleep is a big one, but it can also just show you how stressed you might be. Your Whoop age is ready to view. Oh my God. Let's see how old it says I am. And that's one of the things I love about this thing. It gives you so many different pieces of information that you just wouldn't expect to get access to. Reveal my Whoop age. How old do you guys think this thing thinks I am? 18? 26? This thing's gonna say I'm like 42. 43. Damn. 44. Why? Your Whoop age is older than your chronological age. You have the power to change this. It's because I don't sleep well. I'm gonna have to come back to this later tonight and figure out why it says I'm 44. It's not even sleep, y'all. Oh, no, no, no. It is some sleep. Fitness? Okay, I can't do this right now. Anyway, it gives you all kinds of information so that you can take better care of yourself. Clearly. You know what it is? It's Q4. Q4 in the tech world will have you stressed and feeling like you're way older than you are. So that's what it is. But yeah, that's what this thing is all about. It's all about revealing what your body is going through, how it's feeling, what you should be doing to improve it. And now I know I need to lean back in my Libra Novo a little bit more. How many hours of sleep do you get every night? I think it said average hours of sleep, five hours and 45 minutes. I need to sit down, relax, take a nap during the day, catch up. I have a lot of sleep debt. You know, we're gonna stop talking about my health. Let's move on to some more tech. This one's Jean's favorite because I've been talking about this all year. It is your favorite, Jean, because I talk about it so much. So this is a portable charger from Anker. It has a huge 24,000 milliamp hour capacity and it can charge up to 165 watts, which is a lot of juice. So it can charge your laptop, your phone, tons of things at the maximum speed. And what I love most about this is not the built-in screen, not the ports that you get on the side. It's the built-in retractable USB-C power cable. This thing is a lifesaver. You don't have to worry about walking around with cables. It's built right into it. And you don't just get one, but this little wrist strap is a second one. So you get two of them so you can charge multiple devices at once. And with the extra USB-C and A port over here, you can charge up to four things at once. And you can get all the information you want right on the screen in the front. For me, this is just, it just does it all. It's got all of the features. It's got all of the amount of power and speed that you would want from a portable charger. And it's not massive. This could easily be a gigantic portable charger, but this is a really manageable size. I've had people see it and be like, yo, what's that spaceship? But it could be worse, okay? It could be a lot worse. We have some really big portable charges in here. Everything that this thing can do, trust me when I say it is the best portable charger you can buy right now. We use these for everything. And I've gone to tech events. Everybody's up on this. Trust my word, you're welcome. So now we gotta talk about one of my favorite gaming laptops right now. And that is the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i. Lenovo did their thing with this. And this thing has everything you'd want in a gaming laptop. We're talking 5090 graphics card, Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, all the things. So this is an absolute beast. And we've tried a lot of gaming laptops here. And this is definitely one of the smoothest. And it has a beautiful OLED display. So games, they just look fantastic. And you know, it can be subtle if you turn off the RGB lights. But if you wanna go hard and show you're about that gaming life, you get all the colors you could possibly ask for all on display. This is just a really, really good gaming laptop. It is a very premium gaming laptop. I think it's one of the best that you can buy right now. Now this is definitely one of the best in terms of overall performance. But I also really like the Alienware Area 51 laptop. That one looks really cool. The keyboard feels really nice to type on. And it's just got a bunch of like really cool, interesting effects. But in terms of like the actual performance and just everything you get out of it, I do think that this Legion Pro 7i is one of the best that you can buy. Now they do have another tier, which is the 9i. And that's just next level stuff. But this is everything you'd want. This is everything you would need. They just blew it out the park with this guy. Now, if you want something even more portable than a gaming laptop like this, and this is actually not even that bad as a gaming laptop with all of these specs. This is not as big as it could be. Over here, you've got the Lenovo Legion Go 2. And we've also got the ROG Xbox Ally X. Now these are easily the best gaming handhelds that you can buy right now on the gaming PC side of things. So not including the Switch or PlayStation Portal, none of that. On the gaming PC side, these are the best you can get. They're pretty amazing. I have a full video where I cover the differences between the two. So if you guys wanna check that out, I'll have it linked down below in the description. To put it simply, this is just the best overall in terms of what you get out of this. There's so much you can do with the Legion Go 2. But for a really nice, simple experience, you can go with the Xbox Ally X. Both of these are cream of the crop, and gaming handhelds are in such a good place right now in terms of performance. So I'm actually really happy with these. This one's my personal favorite because it has all the bells and whistles. But I think this one is the easier system to game on. Like I said, I'll have more details in my other video. But these two, the best gaming PC handhelds of 2025. And last but not least, since we're on the topic of gaming, Sony actually dropped a lot of really cool in-zone products. If you guys aren't familiar, Sony has gaming PC peripherals and accessories. But I think Oscar and I were most impressed with the keyboard. This keyboard, man, they didn't have to go this hard. They really went hard with this. Now, when it comes to mechanical keyboards, I personally like a nice, clicky keyboard. This is not that, but it is the smoothest keyboard that I think I've ever used. Gene, do you hear that? Have you used this yet, Gene? Oh my God. Mm-hmm. I don't like when you guys make me try stuff that you're not giving me. Dude. I wish. So we could have the 10 keys on the side. Now, this keyboard is so nice because check it out. These have these hall effects switches and they just feel fantastic to type on. Anyway, terrible because it was at an angle, but this is like, guys, when I tell you this feels absolutely fantastic, it is such a good keyboard. So if you're on the market for a gaming keyboard, you really should consider Sony's Inzone products. Like they also drop their new gaming headset, in-ear monitors. Sony dropped some really awesome stuff this year. I think they've got them, a lot of these on sale too. I'll find the links and include them down below for you guys to check out, but you right now should be a good time to pick some of these up if you wanna save some money. But that's it. Those are some of the best things I think we were able to get out of 2025. It's not done yet, but I don't think anything is gonna drop that's mind-blowing for the rest of the year, but we'll see.
