Welcome to the animals of Africa.
Beginning with the largest land animal walking the planet today, the mighty elephant.
Up to 70 years of age.
This huge animal spends most of its time feeding and consuming up to 150 kilograms of food each day.
It's believed to be one of the most sensitive organisms found in any mammal.
And next to those trunks, you'll find their tusks, which are actually large in size and teeth.
One of the most recognizable and loved animal's best memories.
I give to you, the elephant.
The biggest land animal on Earth, it's a guitarist.
It can spot predators such as lions and hyenas.
These gentle giants are social animals and can be found in groups of up to 15 at a time.
And last, but by no means least, we have the incredible rhino.
Animals second in size to the elephant.
And although this animal is large, it happens to be very mobile.
With some species able to swim and run with a top speed of up to 40 miles per hour.
We must do more to help their future survival on Earth.
Ladies and gentlemen, would you please make some noise for the animals of Africa.
Good evening everyone, give me a big wave so we know you can hear us.
Hello, welcome to animals of mythical beasts.
Now you've met the animals of Africa, it's now time to meet one of my favorites.
It's time to meet the mighty wolf.
Now it's important we make all of our animals feel welcome here tonight.
So after three, we need everybody in this room howling as loud as you can like a wolf and inclusive grown-ups.
Are you ready? One, two, three.
Wolves have been around for over a million years.
They're all born with stunning blue eyes and they can hunt from the age of just three months old.
When a wolf is after you, you are not getting away.
You see they can run pretty fast, around 36 miles an hour.
Now that is one mile an hour faster than any sports car driving at 35 miles an hour.
So what animal is not telling us? These things can run faster than a Ferrari.
Now you wouldn't want to meet a wolf down in a dark alley, especially when it comes together with its friends and family.
When they come together, they form a pack and that pack will hunt you down.
But they also have a loving side.
You see, when a wolf finds its partner, it will stay with that partner and stay completely loyal for life.
Ladies and gentlemen, please make some noise for the wolf.
They've shown up in films over the years, including Twilight, Harry Potter, The Wolf Pack, and of course, Let's Meet Wolves.
Teen Wolf, that's where I recognize his jacket.
That's Michael J. Fox up there.
We've got Michael J. Fox above me.
We definitely haven't, but this time we're all sighting to Big Ben every single year.
You'll never guess where the most recent one was.
America? Australia? China?
Not even close. It was actually right here in the UK, all the way over in Yorkshire.
You liar.
What?
It was not in Yorkshire.
Oh, where was it then?
It was here, but my engine stopped there.
Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise.
They were believing that then.
All you've got to do is hold a rail.
Excuse me, man, forget about your silly rail.
I'm going to move myself then.
Give me a form to fill out, please.
You can't fill forms out.
Yes, I can.
Remember the uniform one? You said it was a medium.
Guys, I am a medium.
You're a medium, aren't you?
Hey, listen, I need your help.
What's up?
I don't understand the show.
Craig, the title couldn't be any bigger.
I didn't say I couldn't read it. I said I don't understand it.
Why?
Now, I know what an animal is, but what is a mythical beast?
Look, that's really easy to understand, right?
A myth is a little bit like folklore, a legend.
Oh, a legend?
Yes.
Oh, like this guy?
What guy?
That is a legend.
That is the greatest legend ever.
Do you reckon they can fix the hip of a 48-year-old man that's struggling to sleep?
They don't work miracles, Craig.
I'll let him know.
However, if you were a Dumbledore, they would help you out.
Hey, we've got no talk of Harry Potter in this show.
That was the only one.
Promise?
A shaky promise.
Oh, I'll tell you.
Now, from that to this.
Time to tell you about the coolest birds in the sky.
The beautiful Barn Owl.
The Barn Owl is one of over 200 species of owl on planet Earth.
These guys are incredible.
They can be found in fields, forests, and surprisingly enough, even the desert.
They sound very adaptable.
They are indeed.
They're also one of the quietest flying birds of prey in the world.
Although they are a bird of prey, they're incredibly loyal.
That's why they stay with their partner for life.
Hey, just like the wolf.
Exactly like the wolf.
That's why I love animals.
Craig, 8 million birds are found too, including Labyrinth, we gave it a go.
Yeah, they are just a bird.
Oh, and of course, they deliver the all-important magical letter to a certain wizard who lived under the stairs.
Wait, what did I say?
What?
We'll have no talk of Harry Potter in this show.
50 points of Gryffindor.
Go on.
Now it's time to talk about the fastest animal on planet Earth.
The cheetah.
I'd be called worse.
No, the cheetah is the fastest land animal.
The fastest animal is the African pumpkin, a bird that can fly and dive over 200 miles an hour,
swooping down towards their prey and grabbing those talents.
These birds can be found all over the world.
But most importantly, you can find these birds right here in the UK.
So the next time you're out walking your wonderful dog or your smelly children,
just look up.
You may just see the fastest animal on planet Earth right on your doorstep.
Ladies and gentlemen, make some noise.
And look, Gryffindor.
Kevin.
It's time to meet this guy.
No, it isn't. Put that back.
Guys, I'm doing it.
Oh, my.
This is pure violence.
It's called Hokey Pinky.
He really smells.
Yes, he does.
And as you can see, he is a skunk.
He's also a nocturnal animal, which means he only comes out at night time.
Oh.
And every night, he walks between five and six miles.
Actually, for a very little animal, that's quite impressive.
Yes, a heart would do that.
It would, wouldn't it?
Hokey can walk about in a year.
Oh, sugar face.
He's also comfortable, which means he's neat and fast.
But all that fast to mean I'm a little bit boring.
Something boring?
Yes, boring.
See, my favorite part about Hokey Pinky is he's come up with a plan.
A plan to give me a bonus.
A plan.
A plan?
I want to see this.
Well, guys, see the golden sprays?
Yeah.
Out of its bottom.
Oh, that is gross.
So, that's what we're doing at Hokey Pinky.
We're doing it right now.
Wow.
So, everybody count down with me as loudly as you can.
No.
Five.
Four.
Guys.
Three.
Go.
Stop.
You can't do that.
And why not?
Mate, look at yourself.
We're at bottlings.
Yeah.
These are posh people.
I didn't believe you.
Listen, if that sprays, that'll reach half the room.
Really?
Yeah.
If a skunk goes on human skin, you can't get the smell off for about six months.
Six months?
Yeah.
It smells like all the kids in here got sprayed by one yesterday.
Listen, take it to the car park.
I'll deal with it.
All right.
Next time, have a conversation.
Guys, here we go.
Here we go.
Amazing.
And we share a very close bond group.
That is because they share up to 98% of our DNA.
They are the largest three dwelling animal on planet Earth.
And just like us, when they get tired, they'll send themselves to bed.
Don't start that.
We did it two years ago.
You call me brothers.
My mother has never been anywhere near Justin's house.
Pack it in.
Hey.
Go.
Every year I work at bottlings, and every year people pick on me and call me Mr. Tombo.
Okay.
Get him.
Back.
Go away.
Do you know what?
Take Steve and Mo home with you.
I'm sick of him round here.
Stop it.
Don't even go there.
I don't care.
Walking around right there.
There you are.
They have been on the challenge.
Doesn't make him a stoopid.
I know.
You only just told me that I can make that change to turn back time to say that nothing
is there.
I know.
It made me feel comfortable
But they said it was always gonna be that way
And nothing could be said or done to save their day
And now it's time for change
Let me save them, let me save them
Until we're old
Let me save them, let me save them
Until we're grown
Is this how they stay?
The pangolin is the most trafficked mammal on planet Earth
With one being taken from the wild every minute
70% of the world's population has never even heard of the pangolin
It's the only mammal to have scales that cover its entire body
And it's these scales, as well as its meat, that these animals are hunted for
It is thought to be prehistoric and has been around for as long as 80 million years
The ocean covers 71% of the Earth's surface
And is home to 94% of this planet's wildlife
It generates over 70% of the world's oxygen on Earth
And we've only explored around 5% of it
It contains the largest mountain range
And even the largest animal to have ever lived on Earth
The blue whale
As big as the ocean is, humans have been responsible for destroying it
With 100 million marine animals dying each year from plastic waste alone
By 2050, the amount of dumped plastic in the ocean will outnumber the fish that live there
The mighty bison is once near extinction around the world
And as we've mentioned, animals are now so great, they're not even considered a risk anymore
A species of bison once roamed the UK
However, due to hunting and changes in the landscape
It disappeared around 6,000 years ago
Good news is, there are current projects in place to reintroduce bison back into the UK
They can run faster than wild horses
Plough snow with their heads
And can grow up to 11 feet in length
The bison is a true example of humans coming together
To stop a great colony from extinction
We must now do this for all mankind
One day he took delivery of one of these
What is that?
That is supposed to be polio
It's a double-headed llama
There was only one on planet Earth
And it was done to do this
Which meant I could never have one
And then I wrote a show about having an alternative release
And I just thought, why not?
What?
Everybody clap your hands!
Wait, what are you doing?
Justice!
Come on, you're not meant to be clapping those hands!
It's like it's meant to be
Just imagine it
Chugging to the tip it can't see
Imagine talking to a tiger
Then talking to a deer
Also on faces
People go by
Friends shaking hands
Saying, how do you do?
Men
