I want to show you my holiday look that I always end up going to during the holiday season. This
is the kind of look you can wear to any type of event but also I actually really love this look
just for home stuff. You know when it's like Christmas day or it's day after Christmas,
New Year's Eve even if you're deciding to do it at home or even if you are going out. I just feel
like it's a very easy minimal makeup look that looks flawless but you just look kind of sparkly
without looking sparkly if that makes sense. So there's no kind of like obvious, oh she's
wearing sparkle but you kind of are sparkling if that makes sense. So let's go ahead. It's chic,
it's effortless and it's minimal. I'm going to start with my primer. I'm using my Refine,
Blur and Hydrate primer. I am absolutely loving this. I just, I don't know what it is about this
but well I do know what it is about this. Let's just get it on. It's a really cooling applicator
and I love it for kind of like helping to de-puff my under eye area because as soon as I hit my 40s,
actually I like, it's not as soon as I hit my 40s, I would say over the last year or so,
I'm really seeing a lot of puffiness and I know a lot of that has to do with diet as well. I mean
I'll be honest, in November my diet hasn't exactly been the best and I'm pretty sure it's not going
to be that amazing during this month or just over Christmas. I'm pretty sure it's not going to be
great but one thing I will say is this really helps to just kind of like blur my skin but that
kind of like tip that I told you about, that cooling tip, really is nice on the skin. Very
quickly, if you love my videos, hit the like button, hit the subscribe button and the bell
button. Doesn't cost you a thing but actually makes a huge difference to my channel. I know,
there's a reason us YouTubers keep saying stuff like this because it really does help and I would
really, really appreciate it. So if there's any kind of gift you want to give me this season,
let it be this. Oh and something else as well that I would ask from you but I'll ask that in
a little while. Now base, we want to keep this fresh, not heavy but also we want that lip from
within glow from it. So I'm going to do my favourite thing. I'm going to use my Charlotte
Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter and I'm going to put this all over because this is like the
ultimate key, I think, to that lip from within glow. I'm actually going to use my Makeup by
Mario F4 brush for this because it just spreads everything on really nicely. See that immediately
brings some colour to my skin. One of my favourite liquid highlighters ever and I've tried so many of
them. Okay, now next up we want to go in with our base. I want to keep this fresh. I want to keep it
light. I want it to give me that lip from within glow and I want it to really complement the glow
that I've already got on my skin, right? So I'm using my Makeup by Mario Natural Foundation. This
is in 15N. We're going to use the F1 brush for this. We're going to get this buffed into the
brush. We're going to start from the centre of the face and we're going to work our way out for a
very light base that isn't heavy. Okay, so a really thin layer. Again, like I said, start from the centre,
work your way out. See that nice base we've got? It's luminous, it's not heavy and it just looks
amazing. Next, we want to use a good concealer. Something that's going to really kind of give us
that flawless under eye look but also something that's going to kind of stay put all day, you know?
We don't want the luminous look on the under eye area. Do you see what I mean? So having that
luminous finish to your skin is a really key component of makeup that really does kind of
make you look healthy and make your skin look bouncy. But at the same time, we don't want it
on certain areas. So we do want to make sure the under eye area and the eyelids are nicely kind of
flawless but kind of covered well and also not too shiny so that the light doesn't hit it and show
all the hollowness or the puffiness. So we want that to be pretty matte on those areas, like a
velvety matte, nothing too overly matte. So I'm using my Tarte Shape Tape and I'm going to mix it
with my other concealer. I use my Too Faced concealer. Look, you don't have to use two
concealers. I just love using, like mixing different products together. So you can use
whatever concealer you want. Now I'm going to get my Beauty Blender. I'm going to spray this with my
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Spray. I'm going to go into this concealer on the back of my hand,
really get it into the sponge. We're going to get it onto the lid. So you're going to see this is a
lot lighter than the rest of my face but that's okay because once we actually get the powder on it,
everything actually tones down really nicely. Okay, so we've got my Huda Beauty Easy Bake,
one of my favourite powders. I'm going to press into this, into the palm of my hand, just so that
we don't have a whole load of powder. And then press onto the eyelids and then you're going to
get your brush and you're just going to dust off the excess powder. See what I mean? It doesn't look
so white now. So this is where we want to add the concealer, just the Tarte Shape Tape. So again,
use one concealer if you want to, it's fine. We're going to add this just to this area here
and then just a little bit here. This is going to brighten up the middle of the face.
This here is going to give us a nice lift. Now this concealer is great what I've applied for
the coverage. I do like to mix a little bit of the Too Faced in because I feel like it's a little bit
more creamy so it kind of mixes really well with Tarte Shape Tape. And I only apply it on those
two areas. Okay, so I have my Charlotte Tilbury Bollywood Complexion Brush. First thing I do is
get onto these areas here. See, I just keep it in the same area but I just make sure it's nicely
blended in. And then whatever's left, I'll just take it along the forehead a little bit just to
brighten that area up in the middle. See, sometimes you just need whatever residue is left on the
brush. You don't need excess product. Right, make sure this is nice and damp. Not too much but just
damp enough. And then we are going to blend this bit here. See how we go down on the side of the
nose? Kind of there. You know where it's applied. We go up and down there. Take this on the side of
the nose and then we gradually bounce upwards and outwards along here. Okay, I'm happy with that.
Let's do the same here. Okay, do you see how we've got that really nice brightness along the under
eyes and along this kind of centre of the face? Again, anything that you have left on your sponge
you can take this along this area here just so that it doesn't look so disconnected to the
brightness along the middle of the face. It's very strategic concealing. So now what we want to do is
add some cream or liquid blush. I want to use my One Size Cheek Clapper 3D Blush Trio and I'm going
to use Rump Shaker which is a cream blush and I love it. So we're using my Hourglass 15 brush and
get into that product. I like to just dip onto a tissue before kind of getting onto my skin and
then I go from the top part of the apple, so not on the apple of the cheek, and then I basically
take this up. Not too far up into the top. You don't want to take it all the way up there.
It should be lifting, not like kind of like you're trying to create a new trend. It should be
very strategically placed so you get that nice lift but it also doesn't look like it's kind of
going into your forehead because I've seen people do it way too far up. Okay, I love that. Let's get a
little bit of contour on. I'm going to use my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit brush and I'm
going to use my Dior Forever Contour Stick in Tan and I'm going to go along here. Again, get it onto
a tissue first if you want. I'm going to get a little bit here and this is going to give us a
little bit of a lift there. Same here. Top part of the ear, just along the perimeter of the face
and then underneath the jawline. Okay, now we want to set all of this. Now it's really important
that you make sure there are no creases anywhere. So what you want to do is get the creasing from
underneath the lash line because otherwise you're going to be setting lines. You're then going to
get your powder, go into it. You've got quite a lot on it which is fine but then go into the palm of
the hand to just get rid of any excess powder. By the way, this is going to last all day like this
and it's great for, you know, during Christmas time if you, it's great for like if you are in
the kitchen as well, if you're entertaining because all that heat and stuff is not going to
ruin it. I just think there's nothing worse than trying to entertain guests and kind of being in
and out the kitchen as well and then looking super greasy because of it. This kind of face will
honestly withstand anything but it doesn't look cakey when you're finished. Sometimes I have been
in the kitchen and I honestly feel like I must look super greasy because of maybe being in front
of the cooker or something and then I look in the mirror and I'm like, oh my god, I look absolutely
fine. So you want to go straight into your brush. You're going to dust this off immediately. We don't
want to bake. You're going to get your hourglass brush. So the base is done. It's going to look
initially a little bit powdery when you first do it. Very easy things you can do to just completely
eradicate that and I'll show you in a bit. But leave it as long as you can while you're doing
everything else to calm down because depending on how quickly your natural oils come out,
it might be totally fine by the time you finish your makeup. Now I just want to clean off my brows
because there's a lot of powder on them. There you go. Let's get our bronzer. This is my Fenty
Sunstalker in Private Island and then what I like to do here is just warm up the perimeter of the
face. It kind of really helps to bring back some dimension and then I do use my Fenty 200 brush
and the same bronzer to just kind of contour my nose a little bit. If I don't contour my nose,
I just feel like I've really left something big out. So I just go along the sides of the bridge
of the nose. I don't actually apply a lot of product by the way. You need a small amount but
it is also about the type of like the colour of bronzer that you're using. It only works with a
bronzer that's just a touch deeper than your skin tone. See how I go on the sides like that? But
when I'm going like that, I don't stay in one place. I actually drag it down like that so that
it's more of a shadow like a gradient effect than a line and then I do a little V here and then I
cut it off right at the tip there because that's my preference. It makes the tip of my nose look
smaller. Let's put a little bit of my Dior Lip Maximiser on. That just really keeps my lips
hydrated and it's honestly my favourite lip hydrator ever. This kind of base for me is my
perfect type of everyday base because it brings back colour to my face as you could see and this
is the case with a lot of people. Your skin colour like on your face is maybe sometimes a bit darker
or a bit lighter than the rest of your body. Mine's always lighter. You can clearly see I slap on the
SPF when I'm out but I really do love this type of base because I feel like oh I've just already
got makeup all over me. It's fine. This is my makeup top but yeah so I really do love the fact
that it like making it a lot warmer on my face because I just feel a lot healthier then. I feel
like I look a lot healthier. So I'm gonna now do my brows. I get my Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil
and I basically carve out the shape that I want from the underside of my brow.
Do you see what I mean? So I draw the bottom part, the shape and I always make sure that the pencil
is a lot more faint near the front of the brow than it is anywhere else and the reason for that
is because the front of the brow should always be lighter than the rest of the brow. Okay so the
shape is done. We've carved out the shape. This is where you want to get a brow pen. You can use
the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pen and then you basically go from that line upwards.
Then what I do is I get a much darker pencil and this is my Charlotte Tilbury Brow Cheat in
Black Brown and I go onto the areas which are very sparse. You do not need to do this if you
do not have sparse brows but if you have sparse brows or any kind of bold patches anywhere on
your brow then you would go in with a very matte pencil, something that transfers colour very well,
quite an opaque brow pencil and this is a really good one for that and you would basically draw
little hair strokes in the areas that's bold. The reason for that is because anywhere you use a pen,
the finish of a pen is very different to the finish of a pencil. So the finish of a pen is
always going to have a little bit of shine to it so that when the light hits it there's something
to bounce off of, therefore enhancing the bold areas but if you use a pencil which is quite opaque
and matte then there's nothing for the light to bounce off of so it doesn't enhance those
bold areas. So all I'm doing is just going over where it's bold. Okay so next up we want to
curl our lashes. This is going to really make sure that our mascara
works to its full potential. Now I'm going to use these powder highlighters on my eyes,
it looks amazing on. So I'm using my Patrick Ta Major Glow Creme and Powder Light Reflecting
Translucent Highlighter Duo, wow, in Honey and also in Daddy but I'm using the cream version
of Honey and the only place I'm going to add this is like just on my eyelid but kind of in the centre
of the lid, not a lot. So I'm going in the centre and then touching the lash line, there you go,
right, you can leave it like that and it'll give you a really nice sheen. Then I'm going to go
into the powder of Honey with my finger and I'm just going to pat on top and you can touch the
whole lid but it's really going to show more on the area that you have the cream highlight on
and because it's a highlighter for the face and it's not so super sparkly, it looks so pretty on
the eyes. If you really want to make them pop just a little bit more, go into a slightly lighter
highlighter. So I'm going to use the shade Daddy, the powder one and we're just going to touch the
lash line, not the whole lid. Can you see the difference? It just makes that lash line pop a
little bit, it lifts it very slightly. Now another place I love adding it is just on my lower lash
line but the first part of my lower lash line, not all the way across. You want to get a good
mascara that adds volume but also lengthens your lashes really well. Now the dual over volume
is amazing for this. So we're going to get the product off of the tip, you don't want to have
too much of the product on there. Then you're going to go through your lashes,
see what I mean? That's just like immediate length and volume. It's very quickly become one of my
favourite mascaras. I'm not going to lie, I do prefer a different mascara for my lower lashes,
my Makeup by Mario Master Mascara. I have a habit of calling this Master Max Mascara,
I think it's just because of the palettes but this is a really good mascara for your lower lashes.
I'm going to add a little bit of the cream shade from Honey onto the back of a Beauty Blender
and then we're just going to touch the peaks of the cheekbone here. Do you see what I mean?
The skin, this look, we haven't even finished yet. Okay I've got my Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Duo
in Tan. I'm using both shades of this, we're going to start with the dark shade.
So you're going to go a little bit higher than your lip line along the centre. I have never
ever, well if I have it was a big mistake, but for many years I have not outlined my lip all the way
round. Even on clients I will only ever over line a little bit if I feel I need to along the centre
of the lip here. I will never over line along these side bits. The minute you do that, that's
when you end up with that horrible duck look and it's very over the top. So always make sure you go
your natural lip line at the end. So I'm over lining slightly here and I'm going onto my actual
lip line. Then I'm going to get the other side and I actually feather this current lip liner on that
I've got on with this pencil. So I drag it in. Let's get my Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Big
Lip Plumpgasm, very glossy. I know you're thinking how is this minimal as in this lip,
it's really not. But watch, don't press your lips together. I mean you can leave it like this if you
want. If you want gloss, go for it. So what we're going to do now is blot it. See how that immediately
changes it? The gloss isn't there anymore, it's a lot more muted but you've still got that kind of
like nice kind of slight, not sheen, but it just looks like it's moisturised, well hydrated lips.
This is my easy holiday look which isn't over the top. You're using muted colours so you still have
something there but it's minimal in comparison to like all the reds and the bright bold colours you
see during this season. It's clean, it's timeless, it's wearable for anyone, works for every occasion
whether you are just doing a dinner party and it's very casual or whether you are going to a glam event.
