Tonight, as you close your eyes and let the world grow quiet, a soft breeze begins to whisper
around you. Warm, slow, and gentle. It carries the scent of bamboo leaves
and the tiniest shimmer of glowing green light. You take one peaceful step, and then another,
and suddenly, the forest opens just for you. This is the Healing Forest, a magical place
that appears only to children's imaginations. The trees glow like soft lanterns,
fireflies float like tiny stars, and every sound is as calm as a lullaby. Tonight,
a very special friend is waiting for you there. As you walk deeper into the forest,
you notice a warm, round shape resting beneath. A tall grove sits there quietly,
soft as a cloud, peaceful as the moon. His black and white fur glows gently
in the forest light, and when he lifts his head, his eyes shine with kindness.
He waves to you slowly, as if saying,
Welcome, little friend. I am glad you are here. You step closer,
and the baby panda pats the grass beside him, inviting you to sit in the softest,
safest spot in all the forest. When you sit down, you feel the warmth of the earth
beneath you, and by your side, speaks in a gentle voice, as soft as leaves falling
into the evening air. Sometimes, he whispers, our thoughts become busy like buzzing bees,
and our hearts wiggle like little fish. But there's a secret way to help them
calm again. He holds up a glowing leaf, and you see a tiny pink blooming at the tip.
This is flower breathing, the panda says. He lifts the flower to his nose,
and takes a long, slow breath in. You do the same. A gentle scent, sweet like spring,
fills your imagination. Your breath becomes soft, slow, and deep, then blows out very gently,
and a small, fluffy, white cloud floats from his paw into the sky. You breathe out slowly
with him. Your breath makes a tiny cloud drift up, too, light as a feather. The forest
glows brighter. Each time you exhale, breath one, inhale, smell the flower, slow, gentle,
peaceful. Exhale, blow into the sky. The forest lights shimmer. Breath two, inhale,
hey. The flower glows pink. Exhale, a cloud drifts up like a fluffy pillow. The panda
smiles kindly. Breath three, inhale. The forest breathes with you. Exhale. Your cloud
floats higher until it sparkles among the stars. As you continue breathing softly,
something magical all around you. The bamboo begins to glow brighter, glowing green, golden,
soft, blue, like lanterns lighting the night. Fireflies rise from the grass,
twinkling gently around you, watch us proudly. See? He whispers. When your breath becomes calm,
the whole world around you becomes calm, too. With every inhale, the lights brighten.
With every exhale, the glow spreads softly through the forest. You feel warm, safe, still.
The panda places his paw on his heart and then on yours. Whenever you feel worried, he says,
remember the flower. And the forest begins to quiet again, glowing gently like a warm
nightlight. The panda leans back comfortably and gives you one last slow smile.
You can come back anytime, he murmurs. The healing forest will always open for children
who breathe with calm. As you stand, the fireflies drift around you like tiny floating
stars, guiding you gently back toward your dreams. Slowly, step by step, the forest
becomes softer. The lights grow dimmer, and your body feels heavier, sleepier,
more relaxed. Last time, the peaceful warmth fills your chest. And as you drift into sleep,
the forest whispers softly, you are safe. You are calm. You are safe.
