After helping their father kill a sheep for their dinner, 15-year-old Hoss and his 11-year-old brother Blue fight over what to do with the baby lamb left orphaned.
So we take the liver, just like this.
Dad.
Boss, grab the legs.
Blue, let's go Blue, hurry up!
Eat it.
Eat it!
Go to sleep.
It's a lie.
------- sleep.
Up, now.
I'm going out, your brother's in charge.
I thought maybe we could keep it.
No, Dad's gonna kill it, don't you?
Guess I'll have to run away then.
Or I will.
Where are you going?
I thought you were running away.
I am.
Just gotta get the engine fixed, then we'll go.
Where are you gonna go to?
Somewhere with grass.
He likes it.
Are you gonna help us?
It's just a lamp.
No it's not.
It's my friend.
So what are you showing it to me for?
Because I thought we could keep it.
As a pet.
We can't.
Get rid of it.
Me?
It's time to grow up.
You started this, you finish it.
We're running away.
Up, now.
We're keeping it.
