In Strängnäs the Tidö party leaders met at the prime minister's home to discuss the future
After the meeting the Strängnäs paper was presented a plan for cooperation ahead of the next term
The prime minister says the government has made good progress with the Tidö agreement but a lot remains to be done
We have had a large number of shootings we have doubled the prosecution of serious crimes and we are on the right track to building new nuclear power
Inflation is defeated we have done many things but there are still many problems in Sweden it is quite obvious
So my message to the voters will be don't change direction now but if you want to solve the problems continue solving them the correct way
After a year marked by inflation high prices and an uncertain security situation he now wants to pursue a more aggressive policy for growth and development
Now that we have brought down inflation we can use the strength of Sweden's public finances as we have significant investments ahead of us
If we are to manage such large investments it also requires growth in the Swedish economy
We have a world situation that is very complicated with the war in Ukraine one side and threats of a trade war on the other
So there are also major international challenges
Regarding integration which is seen as one of the major issues ahead Christersson says it requires a strict migration policy and that more people must enter the workforce
If we are to have a chance to solve the integration problem migration must be brought down to reasonable levels
Under the previous government which welcomed 320 000 asylum seekers to Sweden over eight years there is no genuine chance of addressing the serious integration issues properly
We now have this opportunity and therefore one must be equally systematic there
Make sure children learn Swedish early so that they can cope with school later
When adults enter the labor market they move to where the jobs are not live on benefits if one could work to take just two examples
Christersson describes the meeting in Strängnäs as a step towards a common plan for the next four years
We have focused all our efforts in the past three years on solving problems here and now
Make sure the government can make decisions on important matters which it has done very well one might say so oneself
We were fully focused on the next term
How can we ensure that we also solve the problems we will face over the next four years after the next election so that voters know roughly which direction such a government will take
You shouldn't buy the pig in the sack it's enough that the left side has a pig in its sack
