Trump Honors National Guard Members at National Christmas Tree Lighting

As the nation marks the start of the holiday season, President Donald Trump used this year’s National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony to spotlight the National Guard, honoring two service members who were shot recently in the line of duty.

One of them, Sarah Beckstrom, later died from her injuries. The other, Andrew Wolfe, is still in the hospital. Earlier on Thursday, Trump met with the family of Andrew Wolfe at the White House. In a post on X, Trump said Andrew is healing, and that his family are fantastic American patriots.
