Qing Dynasty: The End of the Chinese Imperial System

Throughout Chinese history, each dynasty is known for its unique governance and culture. For example, the Qin Dynasty, led by Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor who initiated the construction of the Great Wall, the Han Dynasty, the golden age of trade along the Silk Road, the Tang Dynasty, led by Empress Wu Zetian, the first female emperor, and the Ming Dynasty, which initiated the construction of the Forbidden City. Finally, the Qing Dynasty, the final dynasty in China, marked the end of a monarchical system that had existed for thousands of years.
