#RegrettingYou#AccessHollywood Mason Thames and McKenna Grace are playing coy about their off-screen rumored romance. While the duo spoke to Access Hollywood at the “Regretting You” premiere they both admitted to improvising kissing while filming together. McKenna said, “I’d say Mason and I had more than a few, we had more than a few [improvised] kisses that Josh never said anything about on the day, he just let us do our thing but they ultimately got cut out of the film and watching the film makes us laugh so hard now…” Mason also corroborated her story, telling Access, “We [improvised] a lot of kisses, this is true.” “Regretting You” will be out in theaters on October 24th.

What is the inspiration for tonight?
What did you want to feel like on this carpet?
I don't know.
I was just trying to find something that I felt nice.
And I have had the longest, like, I had spine surgery.
Backstory time.
I had spine surgery, like, two, three years ago now.
And I just had the hardest time for, like,
my entire teenage years finding things
that I felt comfortable in or that fit my body
because my back was so wonky.
And it's just, like, over the past few years,
I finally started to feel a little bit more
comfortable in my own skin and take risks with fashion
and find things that I feel nice in.
And I'm just, like, so lucky tonight.
I adore this dress.
And it just makes me feel so fun and pink and girly.
And, yeah, yeah, no.
You look like a princess.
You're giving princess tonight.
Fans are so excited for Rib Riding You.
How would you describe the emotional ride
that we are in for on this one?
Gosh, I mean, this film has a little bit of everything,
a little bit of something for everybody.
It has romance.
It has multi-generational romance.
It has trauma.
It has grief.
It has mom and daughter story.
It has, gosh, it truly has a little bit of everything.
So it's sad.
It's uplifting.
It's romantic.
It's for everything.
It's for everyone.
And you mentioned romantic.
How much of those romantic scenes were actually improv?
Which ones?
Improv?
I'd say Mason and I had more than a few.
We had more than a few improv kisses
that Josh never said anything about on the day.
And he was like, just let us do our thing.
And then ultimately got cut out of the film.
And watching the film makes us laugh very hard now.
Because we're like, why did he let us do that?
But, you know, besides that, most of it was on the page.
But, I don't know, Mason and I just did.
I think you guys have amazing chemistry, you know?
Is this, can we consider this your hard launch?
My hard launch?
This movie?
Yeah, it's definitely Miller and Clara's.
Yeah.
Thank you.
I love it.
Thank you so much.
OK, talk to me about this fashion tonight.
What are we wearing?
This is Valentino.
Yeah, this is, I'm having a good time.
This is so cool.
I'm really happy with it.
So, yeah.
Well, you kind of match McKenna in the pink.
Kind of perfect.
Did we plan it?
Maybe, maybe not.
Maybe not, maybe not.
Well, congratulations on this film.
I know fans are so excited for this one.
How would you describe the emotional ride we are in for?
Should we have the tissues ready?
I would say, yeah.
Yeah, I mean, there's sad tears, happy tears.
I think there's everything in this movie.
You can be, you know, from one minute the happiest
and just, oh, that's so sweet.
Just kind of crying.
And I think it's really fantastic.
And I think this movie has a lot to it
and a lot of messages and stories
that I think a lot of people can relate to.
Absolutely.
And I mentioned McKenna earlier, working with her,
you guys have intense chemistry on this set.
What was that like?
What was the highlight?
Any scenes, improv maybe?
Ooh, improv?
She said.
We improv'd a lot of kisses.
This is true.
But funny enough, we watched the movie
and a lot of them got cut.
So we're like, I don't know why we did it in the first place.
But I didn't mind.
But yeah, I mean, all the scenes were so much fun,
especially doing with McKenna.
Me and her have always wanted to do a movie like this
and the fact that I got to do it with her
and this be our first adult role in this romance movie,
it's awesome.
That's amazing.
And you are having an incredible year.
As I mentioned, this movie,
How to Train Your Dragon, Blackphone 2.
How is this a turning point for you and your career?
And how are you handling this fame, Mason?
It's really crazy.
It's been one of the craziest years of my life
and I'm just kind of along for the ride and enjoying it.
So I'm very grateful.
Go you.
We're so excited for you.
