This Hidden 1950s Los Angeles House Was Just Restored… Wait Until You See Inside | House Tour
Perched above the canyons of the Upper Outpost Estates, XXV transforms a once-traditional Mediterranean home into a calm, design-driven sanctuary. The team approached the house with a respect for its hillside charm—arched forms, intimate courtyards, and sun-washed plaster while reshaping it for a more fluid, contemporary way of living. What emerges is a warm, quietly dramatic retreat that feels both timeless and unmistakably new.
The project marks a close collaboration between Ome Dezin and designer Marco Zamora, whose shared sensibilities created a unified vision throughout the home. Instead of leaning on bold statements, the pair focused on atmosphere soft textures, natural materials, and subtle contrasts that give each space a sense of depth without overwhelming its character. Their combined approach blurs the line between renovation and reinvention, making the home feel carefully evolved rather than overtly redesigned.
XXV ultimately stands as a reflection of restrained luxury: rooms that open gently to the landscape, a palette built around earth and light, and architectural details that reward attention rather than demand it. It’s a home rooted in the heritage of the Hollywood Hills yet unmistakably shaped by the designers’ modern sensibilities, offering a serene, lived-in presence that feels both personal and sophisticated.
