Hey everyone, welcome or welcome back to my channel, my name is Karoliza and in today's
video I'm going to be continuing decorating for Christmas and if you have been following
along with my Christmas decorating series or if you are new in this channel, I already
did my entryway Christmas decorating, my entire living room and Christmas tree and now it's
time to decorate our kitchen.
So, I will be doing a very festive Christmas decorating, adding a lot of deep reds, berries,
greeneries, twinkling fairy lights and of course my favorite browns and earthy colors
to still keep a very organic Christmas decor.
So, I hope that you enjoy this video, thank you so much for watching and let's get into
this Christmas decorating.
Right now the kitchen is clean and simple, almost like a blank slate to start with.
I've cleared all the countertops and made sure everything feels bright and ready to
start decorating.
Today, we are starting by decorating the kitchen window nook and this year I decided to go
with something lighter and simpler than last year.
So for this window decor, I chose these cedar garlands I got from Lowe's and these are perfect
for this area since they are very lightweight.
To add just a subtle touch of color, I'm stacking a few red berry branches along the garland,
nothing too busy, just a delicate pop of red to bring in that classic Christmas feel.
I've already attached the command hooks I needed to hang each garland and I used two
of these cedar garlands on this window and then I also added the red berry stems to the
second garland.
I ended up using two of these red berry bundles that I got from Target and I actually used
them last year too for my Christmas kitchen decor and I loved them so much that I decided
to use them again this year.
And next, I added these furry twinkling lights I found them in Amazon and I love this comb
with a green wire which helps to make them blend in seamlessly with the greenery and
they have 7 light effects and I've set the number 2.
I've received so many questions about these furry lights and of course they will be linked
in my description box.
To finish it off, I'm bringing back one of my favorite rattan woven bells and I'll be
topping with this beautiful and festive red velvet bow and I got it from Target.
To hang the bell, I'm just using the ring that comes with and just hanging onto the
command hook I've attached in the middle.
To attach the bow, I just used the clip on the back of the bow and clipped it right onto
the command hook that's holding the bell.
And both add that perfect organic texture and pop of Christmas red to complete this
window nook.
And that's it for this window nook and now we can turn the lights on and automatically
it feels more festive and Christmassy.
I love how this window turned out, simple, delicate and festive.
And now let's move on to the stop sights and I started by the right side.
I'm bringing back my vintage breadboards and I'm just layering two of them.
I did this simple bells decor adding a cedar napkin ring and a bow to hang on the dark
wood breadboard.
I'm also bringing back this marble and wood pine tree figure chess board that I got a
long time ago in G.A.
Maxx.
I usually keep this stone mortar here to keep my garlic but this time I wanted to fill it
with these snowy pine cones that I got from Hobby Lobby and just sparkling all over a
few dried cloves.
Next to the breadboards, I'm placing my favorite small rattan vase that I got from Walmart
In order to help adding some artificial height, I'm filling with some recycled plastic bags
and I wanted to fill it with these beautiful burgundy floral stems I ordered from Etsy
to add a delicate touch other than berries.
To complete this corner, I wanted to add this beautiful antique wood cookbook stand with
a beautiful scalloped edge design I got from Magnolia and I placed that cookbook The Bread
of Life and I chose the chocolate croissant perfect with a coffee cup for a cozy Christmas
breakfast or dessert.
I'm attaching the cedar napkin ring to add a subtle touch of greenery and using it as
a festive book separator.
I found this red jar candle at Hobby Lobby last year and it's still one of my favorites,
I'm lighting it now to start adding that warm, cozy Christmas fragrance and feeling to this
space.
Now for the left side, I added a little bow to this napkin ring to add a subtle festive
touch onto this wall art that I wanted to bring back to this area.
I swapped out the crock pot I was using as a utensil holder for this beautiful vase from
New Studio Maggie I got last year at Target, I made a little swag greenery accent using
a cedar pick from Walmart and two little cow bells and I'm just using the ribbon from the
bow to tie it to the vase.
And I also wanted to make a bow using this velvet ribbon that I ordered from Amazon and
I consider a velvet bow or ribbons add so much Christmas vibes and I also consider that
you will never have enough bows to decorate for Christmas.
And next, I brought this little terracotta pot I got from Zara Home and I wanted to fill
it with this frosted red berries to add a touch of holiday berries to this side.
And next, I'm bringing this cedar wreath I also got from Lowe's and it is the same cedar
leaves of the garlands I used in the kitchen window and I wanted to keep it very simple
so I'm bringing this wooden bells I got from Hobby Lobby this year and I'm tying to the
wreath to add that rustic and traditional Christmas accent.
For my peninsula, I'm bringing this breadboard I got from Maggi & Co and I'm layering with
this dark wood breadboard I'm also adding a charming festive detail too, using two cow
bells and just attaching them with a simple jute rope and I wanted to make a bow with
a beautiful deep burgundy satin ribbon that I love to make it more elegant and whimsical.
And I'm bringing this stone mortar I filled with snowy pine cones and gloves and I consider
this goes better here than where I placed it at the beginning. I also wanted to add a berry and
greenery arrangement here so I'm bringing my favorite berry stems in this beautiful brown
color to add just a subtle red accent I'm using this hanging berry stems I got from Magnolia
and I just removed a few of the branches and mixed them in with the brown berries
I wanted the brown berry stems to be the main accent of this peninsula.
For this remaining spot I just added this framed wall art I found at Marshalls a few days ago
and then just bringing this mini lamp I like to use it in this corner to bring a cozy holiday
touch to this counter I'm adding a few baked cookies on this cake stand I love styling little
moments like this in this kitchen it feels so inviting and adds that warm lived-in Christmas
charm like you are always ready to share a sweet treat with a family or guests I also tied a little
red bow onto the glass dome cap just a small detail but it adds that charming festive accent
next it's time to decorate our island so I'm bringing this new handcraft terracotta vase I
ordered from wafer it has an elegant silhouette and I appreciate the handle detail since this
is very tall I wanted to add a hanging berry accent with this stunning long berry stem from
Magnolia and I'm just letting them drape naturally over the sides to bring in a soft
delicate and organic feel I love how they cascade over the edge to add a greenery accent to the
center of this kitchen I'm bringing in my favorite cedar stems I found this on Etsy last year and I
love them so much that I ordered more this year to use it again in my Christmas decor I'm carefully
adding them into the vase within the berry branches to create a natural look and just
arranging a little bit as if the berries are just starting to climb over the cedar branches
next to the vase I'm placing my antique para tray that I got from Etsy to create a very festive
centerpiece and I'm placing this oversized red jar candle from Michaels and to add that natural
woodsy touch I'm using my snowy pine cones and arranging them around the candle to fill in
that remaining space right in the middle of the centerpiece I'm adding this little cinnamon
decor I made last year by tying together a few cinnamon sticks with a dried orange slice
it's such a simple touch but it adds that cozy rustic Christmas feel and even brings a hint of
seasonal fragrance to the space and this is how this beautiful arrangement and centerpiece combo
turned out now let's move on to our coffee bar area and here's where I wanted to add the new
cypress accent little tree I got from Walmart but first I wanted to rearrange this coffee bar area
because I can make the space I need to add this little cypress accent tree I just needed to have
an outlet very close to the tree and I love how the twinkling lights add that magical and festive
moment to this area next to cover the outlet I needed something taller to place my syrup bottles
and I brought this tall antique wooden riser and this will help to match the height to cover the
outlet and next I'm bringing back my favorite rope woven tray to ground this area and place my
canisters but before adding them I'm using a couple of coffee books here to separate the space from
the coffee machines and make them more seamless and next I'm bringing back these mugs with engraved
Christmas trees that I got from Target last year and I also added again these gorgeous deep brown
appetizer plates and I'm topping with this pretty mug with a pine tree icon I got from Target this
year just adding these practical golden spoons in this mug and next I wanted to place here a bottle
of cocoa powder little marshmallows and I also found this bottle of crushed peppermint perfect
to sprinkle over a dessert when enjoying a cup of coffee or hot cocoa and next I'm bringing in this
vintage wooden dough bowl and I'm laying a flower kitchen towel inside to soften the look and make
this little moment feel more delicate I'm placing this primitive gingerbread cookies that I got from
Antique Farmhouse and then I'm topping everything with a few orange slices for that rustic old
fashioned Christmas moment as if I just took the cookies from the oven fresh and ready to eat and I
found this adorable gingerbread jar candle at EMAX and I knew right away I wanted it for my coffee bar cozy moment
the last area to decorate are these small shelves and here I'm bringing this Christmas
tree framed wall art that I got from Target last year next I'm placing this driftwood pine trees
I found at Marshall's and then this beautiful burgundy flocked reindeer below I'm placing this
round breadboard I wanted to add the adorable red bow icon bubble glasses here and next I'm bringing
back these little ceramic houses I got from Target a long time ago and I still love them and that's it
and the very last Christmas touch is adding this beautiful poinsettia my husband brought for me
and I'm bringing the woven basket of the large cypress accent tree to place these flowers in
and add that organic and textural touch and I love adding my natural
plants here to receive the sunlight every morning
and I'm so happy with how it all came together this year the space feels festive yet calm
filled with those subtle touches of greenery pops of red and so many beautiful textures
the soft cedar garlands along the window the warm glow of the candles and the twinkling lights
and that natural mix of berries and fresh looking greens make the whole kitchen feel so welcoming
I love how the woven rattan details and vintage wood accents bring that rustic charm while the
even the smallest touches like the cookie moment the cinnamon and dried orange accents
and the little swags on the vase and the cluster of bells help make the kitchen feel alive and ready
for the season and the holidays between the greenery the seasonal fragrance of the candles
and the natural elements and soft neutral textiles it truly feels like a kitchen ready
to enjoy the holidays gather with family bake cookies and make beautiful moments
thank you so much for your company and decorating along with me I hope you got so many ideas and so
much inspiration for your own christmas decorating and see you in my next video bye
