Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote his last piano concerto, Piano Concerto No. 27, K. 595, in January of 1791. This nuanced performance by Portuguese pianist Maria João Pires brings out both the melancholic traits and the delicacy of the work. She is accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra led by the British conductor Sir John Eliot Gardiner on July 5, 2022 at St Luke's Church in London.
