⚙️ Friday’s Finds | Power, Precision & Backyard Innovation!

Welcome to Dude RV. [screaming] Hey, I appreciate you stopping by. And of course, you got here, say it with me, just in time. That's right, just in time. Because it's Friday, and it's time for another edition of Friday's Finds. For all you background watchers, I I just finished shooting last week's video, so not much at all has changed. So, we'll get right into it. I got what uh at least five five maybe six items. Uh I've been waiting on some birds to show up for one of them, but uh the birds don't seem to be hungry these days. Anyway, let's get into it. Let's let's open some boxes. We're going to kick it off with a returning sponsor. If you watch this channel, you watch this show very often, you'll know there is one company that is always very supportive of the Dude RV Fridays fine show, and that would be Vivore. Affordable, reliable, home improvement. Yeah. Let's see what Vivore sent us for this week. They actually sent us two boxes. This one, we're going to start off with this one right here. Let's start it off with this one right here from BB Board. I I need this. I need this a lot. This is actually going to be part of the Friday's fine patio studio setup. It is a Vivo rotary tool. Boy, that's a heavy duty one right there. Great for sharpening chainsaws and cutting screw heads off. And let's see how how many revolutions. How much power does it have? The six speed settings. Let's plug it in. Let's see what it sounds like. So the little kit includes cut off wheels for cutting metal, some buffers, some sanders, sanding wheels. Lots of small various bits that hold your sanders. These actually slip on like that and you tighten down on the screw and it expands. If you want to polish something, you go down in here and you get one of these polishing mandrels. Fits right in there like I so we take that, put it in here. You have shaft lock. And now you're ready to buff. I'll clean clean the glass. Just like that right here. And I think we're going to sharpen the chainsaw. Let me get a chainsaw. I like birds right now. The birds don't seem to be liking me, though. Usually I've got nonstop birds going to my bird feeders. But I guess all the migrating birds have migrated and the all the stay behind smaller birds. They've got plenty of fruit, so they're not coming to eat the free food, but they will be back. Intelligent, which I never do. All right, our next one. While I'm wandering around holding a camera, you'll notice I got lots of bird feeders. I have a bird. I have places for the birds to get water. I have more bird feeders than uh I can afford to fill. [snorts] Bird seed has gotten very expensive. I like working with these. This is a bird feeder camera. These also make great stealth security cameras. Unless you pay Amazon, you can scan that and go to the Amazon app. There's something to read. I got to pull it all out and put it all together. Perch. Nothing else. I got a lot of I got a lot of reading to do and then I'll start doing the stuff. Moving right along. Let's see. Let's open another box. We'll go with the flatter box. Vivore has struck again. What did they send us this time? Laundry solder model XY L04 casters hardware. Metal frames. More metal frames. Sport garage. >> All right, let me put it together and we'll take a look. >> We are moving right along. If you've been following the We have one more box comes to us from Yuri York. It is the Yerry York electric wood chipper shredder plus shredder. Let's take a look. >> See what we have. wheel. Got a handle. Secret package surprise. Owner's manual. Part of the handle. Another part of the handle. The wheel. Green thing. Some assembly required. Let me put some assembly. Let me let me put it together and then we'll be back. >> We are moving right along. If you been following the channel for any length of time, if you've been following the show for any length of time, you'll probably remember this. Sometime last year, yeah, pretty sure it was last year. This is the Oite Sphere. It's a very cool little light. Of course, I need to charge the battery. It's dead. But anyway, this is a very cool light. It's like a little I don't know. It's just cool to play with. That's the thunderstorm setting. One of my favorite There's even more settings available in the app. Look how cool that is. There's you can set it to work with your your sound as well in the app so that it acts as a kind of a disco ball. Yep. That's cool. Oike has some really neat lighting products. They reached out to me and said, "Hey, we want to do another edition of Friday's finds." They've come out with a new product that's real. It's another really cool lighting product. It's from Oite. This is the Ark Pro. Check this thing out. They they do such a good job with their pack packaging. Excellent gifts. This is mil from I'm pretty sure a solid aluminum billet. I don't know. But it's heavy. It has multiple different lighting options, even ultraviolet light. So, if if you got a dog that's that's prone to having an accident in the house, you can use the UV light to identify that. You can use a UV the UV light to identify scorpions. If you're a hunter, a UV light is very handy for following a blood trail. It has multiple different colors, so it's it's just a really neat from what I've read. I personally haven't fired it up yet. It's brand new. It just got here. I got to charge it so we can figure out what it does. So, that's what I'm going to do. I'm going to put a charge to it and then after dark, we're going to play with the light. The Oolite Arc Pro. Don't go away. Okay. All right. Moving right along. And here is our laundry basket. It's actually a three bin sorting. Be great for an apartment. So if you got child going off to college, housewarming gift. Yeah. Two drawers. They're soft drawers. Put laundry stuff in there. I guess your dryer sheets. I suppose we need to see it in the utility. Let's make it so. So, we should have made our utility room just a little bit wider, but it serves a purpose. And now we have additional space for shoes. Now there are anchor straps so that you can secure it to the wall. If you have small children, that is highly encouraged. I like it. And I'm pretty sure the wife will, too. All right, [snorts] we're moving right along. We got one more box. All right. So, I have installed the app on the phone. I have connected the bird feeder camera to the app. I went in and created a a home for it. We can go to full screen. We can add audio if we would like. We can record when we're watching the live stream from the camera. You can record. See here I am in front of the camera. Put that there so you can see that. Now I have captured several birds and a squirrel or two. Speaking of squirrels, [snorts] if you have a squirrel show up and you don't want it around, you can turn on the chase the squirrels away. You can you also have an AI detection mode. >> [snorts] >> That way it's it's recognizing when you walk up to it versus when an animal is there or if a deer comes by. You can actually set up a bird identification with a take there. There is a a monthly subscription to be able to identify the birds. It doesn't cost very much. It's like five bucks for your your basic plan. You can store them into your favorites if you're watching the camera. If you're if you've got that set up and you're watching it and a bird comes along and you want to record that, you would just click right there and now you're recording. If you wanted to snap a picture of it, there you go. You got a picture stored on file. We can listen through the camera to the bird song. So, it's a very intuitive, simple to use app. I really like the package size. It's easy to take care of, easy to refill. You just reach back here and unlatch it. And that's it. Very neat little device. This would make a great gift. Would make a great gift for anybody that likes to sit in the backyard and watch the birds. All right, we're moving right along. Not oak, but it is hard. Heat. Heat. Got to go slow. Heat up here. Heat up here. It's plenty dark here. Let's check out the old light. I really I really like this one. This one's fun. So, first we have the green laser. Can you see that green laser? There's two two settings for the green laser. You can turn it at brighter or dimmer. I like it on the super bright. [snorts] And then we have the various different lights. So that's the area light, kind of your lantern setting. And then we have the spot setting with two different levels there. And you can do the laser at the same time. You see? Yeah. See that Texas star right there way down in the woods. Camera doesn't give you a lot of depth at night, but I can light up that projects down into the forest about 150 ft. Let's go to the other side. But we get a real good depth measurement there. So the big pine tree, I'm not sure if you can see the big pine tree. That's 200 200 feet right there. Well, where is the There's the laser. That laser will light up the pine tree. I like this white. Yappy's already said she's laying claim to it though cuz it's perfect for walking the dogs in this mode. I like it cuz it's it's very durable. It's got the belt clip. All right, moving right along. Go back here. We are We are moving right along. I have a halo. I have a halo. That's a powerful little machine. I I really didn't expect it to to handle that. Of course, you saw it. It stalled out a couple times because it's that that stuff is really hard, especially when it's green. Gets a little less hard when it's not wet. But ah, I'm impressed. That's a good value right there. So, I don't know that you're going to want to try to tackle my Yopan Holly forest with that. But if you have a Suburban or a lot that's already cleared and you're just you you're trimming your hedges and you don't want to throw that stuff in your dumpster, well, you can turn it into mulch. You don't have to buy mulch or as much. You don't have to buy as much mulch now. That's a good deal. I'm glad I have it. I know you will be, too. And that brings us to the end of another stellar edition of Friday's finds. All of these items are available on Amazon. I am an Amazon influencer/affiliate.
