Okay, so we are here in Hong Kong, so welcome to the vlog.
And this is going to be a pretty long trip because I think it's four or five nights.
But it's going to be a pretty chill trip.
So the hotel we're staying at is Soravit at Granville.
It's a boutique hotel, but it's pretty cool because if you're used to boutique hotels
in Japan, for example, those are really small.
But this one's not bad.
After you enter the room, here's the little hallway you got.
You have the closet, pretty chill.
So you have a pretty big bed.
This is the superior king room, by the way.
And here is the view from the room.
I have no idea what this building is, but I swear I know this building.
I just forgot what it's called.
And yeah, pretty near a lot of things.
Nathan Road's like somewhere just two blocks down there.
Hashtag bakery is somewhere there on the right, if you guys know that.
Then Hi Tea Lao is there.
Actually in our building itself, there's a Hi Tea Lao on the second floor.
Later in the evening, we're going to have dinner at Hutong, if you know that.
It's an amazing restaurant that has an amazing view because if you know me, I love restaurants
that are high up in the sky.
And I just love that feeling of being high up in the sky.
And Hutong is one of those places.
But beyond being high up in the sky, it has amazing food as well.
The Peking duck especially, oh my gosh, you just have to see.
So yeah.
Hashtag bakery thing that I told you about earlier.
And they have stock.
I don't know if that's the famous thing, but we're definitely getting that.
I think that's a matcha tart, then the egg tarts.
So we'll get one of each.
Oh, I accidentally took a bite without videoing, but shoot, that's good.
Okay, we're now going to try the pistachio.
Look at that.
The one earlier was insane.
Like, I didn't expect the crust to have so much layers in it.
And it's so smoky.
That's so good.
But this is the pistachio.
We're going to compare it to the egg now.
Oh my gosh.
Mmm.
Look at that.
In this restaurant called Tai Hang, I believe, because I'm creeping for duck.
And we're literally going to Hutong in a while, so pretty crazy.
But I can't stop the cravings.
And it's funny because in Hong Kong, sometimes you have to sit in the same table literally
across a random person.
And that's what's happening right now.
So this is a little divider in our table and someone's eating in front of me.
Okay, nevermind.
Fam's calling already.
We're going to Hutong.
So I had to cancel the duck for tonight.
Beautiful, beautiful duck.
Wrap it up.
Cheers.
Hutong roast duck.
Something's wrong this time.
I don't even know if you can hear me because it's so loud here.
Wow, look at that.
Okay, we're home.
Wow, the dinner was good.
Anyways, pass by 7-Eleven.
I got intrigued by this milk.
It's the same brand but then one is fresh milk and the other one is premium milk.
Cheers.
Okay.
Tastes like your usual fresh milk.
Premium milk.
Cheers.
The premium one is so neutral in comparison to fresh milk that you buy off the refrigerator.
It has this nice dairy taste and that's not present in the red one.
I'll see you tomorrow.
Good night.
Okay, good morning.
It's our second day.
So it's in the morning now.
So I'm heading to a cafe to get some coffee before we head out.
And then we're going to go to RE office or headquarters.
Because long story short, our family runs a camera, lighting, audio, all that sort of stuff business in the Philippines.
Then from there, we'll see what we're going to do.
So here's the outfit today.
It's literally just a reverse of what I wore last night.
So the white pants turned into a white shirt.
And the blue striped polo turned into blue striped shorts.
Okay, we're back at Tai Heng.
The restaurant we missed out on last night.
Ta-da!
Triple roasting.
Let's go.
Okay, we are in K-11 now.
And I'm going to wait for the fam to be ready here.
But actually most of the stores are still closed.
So I'm not sure what I'm going to do here.
But at least we have our chachi.
Or sechagi.
Not sure.
Okay, hello. Today we're having breakfast at Yat Lok in Central.
So we're on the way to the station to grab the train to go there.
Okay, we're done with Yat Lok and the goose was really good.
It's just not life-changing but it's really good, definitely.
The asado and the chicken were just not the best, honestly.
I wouldn't order it again.
But then the goose was definitely good.
Anyways, we got coffee after in Chart Coffee here in Central Market.
Because it's part of the list that already made the Google Maps list.
So I just got their specialty, drip coffee, iced.
Now we're just going to look for a spot to do our usual fit check.
Then we'll head back to Tsim Sha Tsui for going out with the fam.
So let's go.
Okay, good morning.
It's our last day in Hong Kong and we're here again in Central this morning.
It's like 7.30am because we are headed to Vision Bakery for their matcha mochi tarts.
And it's not the only stop we have for this morning.
We're going through a lot of things to Lekong.
So we're going to go to Vision.
We'll go to Bakehouse.
We'll go to Hashtag Me Later.
But in between all of those, we're going to stop by cafes like Blue Bottle and Etads.
I forgot the name of the place.
But yeah, I'm wearing gym clothes right now because if you know Central, everything's uphill.
Whether it's stairs, ramps, or...
Okay, it's not so bad here but look down here.
That was a whole ramp that I had to go through.
Then later on, we're going to go through a lot of stairs just to get to Vision Bakery.
I'll see you there.
Finally here.
Okay, so apparently the matcha mochi is available at 11am and it's 8am.
So I won't have the time to wait for it.
So I'm just going to go and have breakfast first.
Then come back and see what they have available by then.
Hopefully they have the kinako mochi at least because I think it's a new item.
So I feel like it sounds really good.
So we'll head to Blue Bottle first.
Then we'll grab breakfast at Feng Yan.
I think that's what it's called.
Okay, I came to Lan Feng Yan first instead because it makes more sense to get breakfast before coffee.
So I got...
I don't get it.
I got one pollo yao and one...
Actually I'm not sure because I didn't get to choose my order.
My order was chosen for me.
Let me explain.
So basically when I was choosing my order, she was like, no, no, no, no.
This one, this one.
I was like, what?
Oh, then she just left and ordered it for me.
So...
Anyways, I have this.
I think it's chicken and some pollo yao.
I don't know, she just gave me so...
She just ordered me whatever, bro.
I don't even know what's happening.
Bro...
I swear, if one more item arrives...
Okay, so I'm here in Blue Bottle now.
And real quick, what happened in Feng Yan was basically I was ordering stuff.
Because I'm not sure if you heard it right here.
So I'm saying it again.
But then I'm guessing that she was ordering for me.
Because later on what arrived were stuff that I didn't order.
And then after the two plates ordered, another one came out.
And I was like, what the hell is this?
So in my head I'm like...
Anyways, we're here now in Blue Bottle.
Gonna chill for a bit.
Then head to Vision Bakery after.
Ugh, what a workout.
Okay, we got the holy trinity of bakeries.
Hashtag be Vision and Bakehouse.
Now we're just gonna get some pollo pao for Ori.
Then head on home to pack.
Then get on with the rest of our last day here in Hong Kong.
Let's go.
