Today we're heading to Vietnam, a fascinating country that blends nature,
history, and culture like no other. Do you dream of exploring mountains covered in rice terraces,
sailing among thousands of islets in a mythical bay, and tasting one of the world's best cuisines?
In this video, we'll discover together the 10 most incredible places you absolutely must see
in Vietnam. Stay tuned until the end because the last spot is a hidden gem that will make you want
to pack your bags immediately. By the way, tell me in the comments which place in Vietnam makes
you dream the most. Let's get started! 10. Hanoi, the vibrant capital
As soon as you step into Hanoi, you can feel its unique energy. Between scooters zooming in every
direction, street vendors shouting out their goods, and cozy cafes where locals sip their
famous egg coffee, the capital is unforgettable. A morning stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake immerses
you in the local vibe, with residents practicing Tai Chi or playing chess on stone benches.
Hanoi is also a deep dive into history, with the Temple of Literature, a serene place where
students once took their imperial exams. And of course, you can't leave the city without
trying Bun Cha, a delicious grilled pork dish served with rice vermicelli and a sweet and sour
sauce. A must-try for food lovers that... 9. Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO Heritage Wonder
Imagine yourself sailing on a traditional junk boat, surrounded by towering limestone islands
covered in lush greenery as the sun reflects off the emerald water. Welcome to the legendary Ha
Long Bay. Spending a night aboard a boat lets you fully experience the magic of this place,
especially at sunrise when the morning mist wraps around the cliffs. Adventure seekers can explore
hidden caves, like the Surprise Cave, where rock formations look straight out of a fairy tale.
For an even more immersive experience, kayaking through these giant limestone pillars
is an absolute must. Since Ha Long Bay has become extremely popular and often crowded,
a great alternative is to visit Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay, which offer similar breathtaking
landscapes with fewer tourists. 8. Ninh Binh, the terrestrial Ha Long Bay
Just a two-hour drive from Hanoi, Ninh Binh is often called Ha Long Bay on land
due to its spectacular limestone formations rising above rice paddies and winding rivers.
One of the best experiences here is taking a boat ride in Tam Coc, gliding through a landscape
straight out of a movie. The rowers, often elderly women, paddle skillfully with their feet,
an impressive technique to watch. For a panoramic view, climb up to Hong Mua,
where a breathtaking landscape rewards your effort. And if you're looking for a more
authentic experience, Trang An is just as magical but with fewer tourists.
7. Ha Giang, Vietnam's most spectacular road trip
Ha Giang is the ultimate destination for road trip lovers.
Winding roads snake through towering mountains, offering stunning views at every turn.
On the way, you'll pass through ethnic villages where people still live by centuries-old
traditions. One of the most breathtaking spots is Ma Pi Leng Pass, often considered one of the
most beautiful roads in the world. Stop at the cliffside to admire the Nho Quay River below.
It's absolutely stunning. Most people explore Ha Giang by motorbike,
but since I love doing things differently and avoiding mass tourism,
I chose to trek for four days, allowing me to go deeper into ethnic villages
and have incredible encounters. I'll be making a video about this itinerary soon,
so if you're interested, subscribe to the channel so you don't miss it.
6. Hoi An, the City of Lanterns
Hoi An feels like a movie set, with its yellow houses,
cobbled streets, and colorful lanterns glowing at night. It's the perfect place to wander aimlessly,
stop by craft shops, take a boat ride on the Thu Bon River, and of course,
try local specialties like Cao Lau, a unique noodle dish only found here.
Hoi An is also a great starting point for exploring nearby beaches or the Mai Son Ruins,
an ancient Cham Sanctuary hidden in the jungle. There are so many activities here,
lantern-making workshops, cooking classes, or cycling through the countryside to discover
artisan villages and local life that... 5. Da Nang, Between Beaches and Mountains
Halfway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang offers the perfect balance between nature,
city life, and relaxation. Mai Ky Beach is ideal for unwinding or trying surfing,
while the Marble Mountains hide mysterious temples and caves.
A visit to the iconic Golden Bridge, held up by two massive stoned hands, is a must.
Da Nang is a livable city with plenty to do and a relatively low cost of living,
which is why it has become a top destination for digital nomads.
4. Da Lat, the City of Eternal Spring
Perched at 1,500 meters above sea level,
Da Lat offers a refreshing escape in Vietnam's southern mountains. Its green landscapes,
serene lakes, and stunning waterfalls make it the perfect place for adventure. Here,
you can try canyoning at Da Thanh La Falls, explore coffee plantations, and taste a unique specialty.
3. Ho Chi Minh City, the Bustling Metropolis
Formerly Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City never sleeps. Its energy is electrifying,
with night markets, trendy rooftops, and endless cafes where locals work for hours.
A visit to the War Remnants Museum gives deep insight into Vietnam's history,
while a walk through the colonial district reveals French influences,
with Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel.
2. Mekong Delta, a Different World
Sailing on the Mekong River is like stepping into a totally different Vietnam.
Life here revolves around water, with floating markets, stilt villages, and vast rice fields.
Spending a night with a local family is the best way to immerse yourself in the culture
and taste traditional dishes like clay-baked fish.
1. Phu Quoc Island, Tropical Paradise
We're ending on a high note with Phu Quoc,
a paradise island with white sand beaches and turquoise waters.
Everything here is about relaxation, snorkeling,
sunset boat trips, and fresh seafood by the beach.
A perfect final stop to wrap up your Vietnam adventure.
Vietnam is full of treasures, and this video has only scratched the surface.
From remote villages to hidden beaches, there are so many more places to explore.
