Hiking Kendall Katwalk w/ the Hyperlite Southwest 40L backpack [Snoqualmie Pass - WA]

Kendall Katwalk is a 14-mile out-and-back hiking trail in Snoqualmie Pass, WA. Located in the Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, this gorgeous trail is a go-to for Seattle residents and surrounding areas.

Kendall Katwalk features forests, boulder fields, ridges, lakes and beautiful campsites throughout the trail. Including a few right by the lake.

If you are planning on going on a weekend, get there early as this is a VERY popular trail and the parking lot will overflow. If you are starting in the morning, most of the trail will be on the shade and only at about mile 5.5 you will feel the sun. The last 2 miles to the lake are the most beautiful, the true katwalk along the ridge with stunning views of the surrounding peaks and mountains.
